Good morning, Linda and Nancy. This afternoon we attend an art display this afternoon of my elementary art teacher's collection. He is 93 and still active.

Internet is crawling soooooooo slooooooooow this morning, just like yesterday. Guess it's not liking the chilly weather.

Wait for the mattress guys to show up. Larry is already panicking about what to do with stuff under the bed....hurricane supplies. Hoping they will fit under the bed...guess we will see.

I just watched Jim Cantore in Hamburg N.Y, which is 100 miles north of me. It was snowing so hard the cameraman kept wiping the lens to clear the shot.

Yeah! New mattress is installed and works.
It lifts head and foot so it is a ride. Lol

I got a call from the Red Cross Wednesday afternoon asking if I could come in to donate this week because there was a platelet shortage. I made an appointment for 10:00 this morning. I got there and they didn't have me on the list and they were booked solid today so I couldn't donate. I guess the woman I spoke to on the phone forgot to enter my appointment after I made it. Oh well, I'll go online and see what's available next week.

I went to the Carolina Country Music Festival twice so I'm on the email list for when they send out artist announcements. I just got an email that Bret Michaels has been added to the 2023 lineup. Wasn't he in Poison, or one of those other 1980s hair bands? I didn't know he was "country".

Jimmy was right. There freezing up in Buffalo stuck in their cars.

Well, here is an odd one.......

I just learned that a guy who I used to work with some years ago is in Federal Prison for sex trafficking under aged girls. The part I don't understand is that he was found guilty, but was still freed. He was supposed to report to prison on a specific date, but instead went on the run. He lived up near Erie, PA and was eventually caught in Arizona. This all happened about 4 years ago.

The stranger thing is that he called me about a year ago, but didn't mention anything. He had to be calling me from prison. I have his cell number, wonder if it still works.

Is that phone ell number or prison cell number?

Hi boys and girls. Long, crazy day. What normally takes me 25 minutes to get to work, took me an hour and 40 minutes. Had a few inches of snow overnight, and numerous accidents. Worst closed 3 of 5 lanes of traffic. Five cars were mangled like I've never seen.

Work has been ridiculous today, but I have an hour to go.

Friday Happy Hour is next door. He brews his own beer and always has samples. Some is ok but most of it is bland.

There is a new neighbor that moved in a block or so away who is invited and coming.

Yup.....Hair Band Hero Back in 2010 Michaels was in town a couple days before he was doing a show at Pine Knob. He joined Buffett on stage to "help" with Margaritaville. Talk about out of place. Bizzaro World!!!

I guess that is better than George Michael's with Jimmy....

I hadn't clubbed any golfs lately so I thought I'd go to the driving range and work some kinks out. As I put my clubs in the back of my car it was 41° and I started having some second thoughts.... When I got to the range and saw that people were parking in the overflow lot, I had some third thoughts and came home a fixed myself a hot buttered rum instead .... Monday morning is probably a better time than Friday afternoon for such endeavors.
