Got my first pension check pending deposit notice -- Its MORE than the estimate (which was based on 2021 earnings) provided to me when I signed my retirement docs ! Another reason to add to the "I am no longer questioning my decision" column

Good morning Bill…Linda…those lying in waiting.
When I first started buying blank cassette tapes & recorded onto them from my LP’s for the car or the boom box I would often do tapes of “double shots” of artist songs as well as tapes of “Fourplays”. I’ve continued doing this since I started with I-Tunes by making such playlists for I-Pod listening and also by burning those playlists on to CD’s.
As of right now MY double hits are consisting of 2 coughs, then 2 sneezes. 2 coughs, 2 sneezes….and so on & so on Ok, not true. It’s more like my Fourplays. 4 coughs, 4 sneezes..& so on
Pension check….that has a nice ring to it

Suppose to be 64 today and 27 tonight! That is a huge temp difference and I am sure I don't have enough clothes. Might have to ask for another blanket!!

There was a radio station in NY that used to do two-fer Tuesday. Sometimes the two-fer was 2 songs by the same artist, sometimes it was 2 songs about the same thing. I often wondered why they didn't do a Billy Squier two-fer - Lonely Is The Night and The Stroke.

It's my only day off. I finished up the gift wrapping, cleaned the kitchen and I'm watching the robot sweep. I'm washing the dogs towels and beds and taking it easy the rest of the day.

We ate at Margaritaville here for lunch. We were the only ones eating. Many employees with nothing to do. Food and drinks were good. I know Tues afternoon probably isn't a busy time but no one else?!

I saw the roller blader wearing shorts and black knee socks in the park again, but today he wasn't wearing a shirt. It was nice out but it wasn't shirtless nice. In addition to pants, I wore a jacket when I went out.

My thing is that I hate being cold. So even though it was in the low 70's, the wind was blowing. I wore a long sleeve Under Armor thermo-shirt. Very warm, and I can wear up to 3 of them under a shirt if needed. I also have a pair of long Under Armor thermo-pants if needed. If it is any colder than that, I don't play golf. Too many nice days to go out and freeze.

Hi there! It's Giving Tuesday. I have collected at Buffett for Leader Dogs. Parrotheadinthemaking gets her dogs from them. I have made small donations over the years and donated already, but an anonymous donor would match donations to 30,000. I made another donation.
