Good morning Penny. Tropical storm-type wind in the Rockies.
I don't really have anything to do today so I'm trying to be productive, the dishwasher is running. I better start chasing it before it gets too far away.
We braved the cold weather yesterday (Kevin had taken a vacation day and Thursday is my short workday) and we stopped at 3 places before finding the perfect tree Christmas tree. We parked it in the stand and carried into the house. I have slowly (since my wrist is still in recovery) been decorating.
Today is my first "social" day off - meaning I don't have crap lined up all day. I'm having lunch at 11:30 with a few ladies I met on the Nextdoor app. Our small group is 7 and all of them are wonderful (even though they are all NY/NJ transplants ).
I have a 2:00 with the occupational therapist and am sure they will give me exercises for my wrist. I will be done with all of this business and can hopefully get the claim for medical expense reimbursement finalized with the County's attorney.
Evening, peeps. Cleaning is done, and most decorating, too. But no tree yet, we’ll get that mid-month so it doesn’t dry out too much.
Excited for this weekend. Keet is visiting with three of his roommates, and my kid sister is coming with her family. There are a bunch of holiday festivals and fun activities around town all weekend, we’ll keep busy with that.

Good friend called me this afternoon asking if I wanted to meet up at the Golf Club for a beer......wife is out of town....that turned into a whole bunch.
