Sunny December Saturday @ The MSC

Post by LIPH »

Good morning peoples. I may have to take my pants off and change into shorts, it's 70 degrees.

I was watching the USC-Utah game last night. After USC scored a touchdown they showed a replay and one of the announcers said the defense lost its eyes. I didn't realize blind men played football. [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

Morning BNers

Getting ready to head to Austin. Yup. It is Little Feat trip again.:)

It is really an ugly day. It is 72 but looks like it could pour any minute.

Catch you on the road...maybe.

I worked today, and we just got done assembling and fluffing the fake πŸŽ„. Now I'm having a margarita and then I'll start laundry. Not sure if we're going to finish decorating today or tomorrow.
I also have a pound of butter out to soften so I can get started on cookie dough.

Edit: Bryan is hauling the Christmas boxes up from the basement, so we might just finish decorating after all.

There was a baseball tournament at the park, the first weekend in December. :o It must have been 2 different age groups, 3 of the fields had temporary fences in the outfield about 50 feet in front of the regular fence.

So far 2 of the top 4 college football teams have lost their conference championship games. I think USC is going to get dropped out of the top 4 and Ohio State should move back up to number 4 and into the playoffs.

I had every intention of decorating the trees today but after a bunch of morning chores, grocery and some Christmas shopping, and then treating myself to my favorite Mexican restaurant for a late lunch, I am on the couch with little intention of doing anything else productive. The trees have been up for a week so I really need to make them a priority tomorrow. Too bad just trees and lights aren't a thing because I would be way ahead of the game...
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

We made it to Austin and the Driskill Hotel. The Driskill is a very old, prestigious hotel. Tonight there are 2 weddings and a special event, so there are people everywhere! Lots of pretty dresses and men in tuxes....and people in cowboy duds.

When we left home about noon, it was in the 70's but now, it is in the 50's. Not sure I brought enough long sleeve clother!!!

Looks like it. Wasn't a fan of O$U getting into playoff but not a fan of U$C doing so either. Was a no win proposition for me
Tough break for TCU. Poor QB was running on fumes out there. Still........should have had him kept the ball 1 of those last 2 attempts

During the Boise State-Fresno State game, Boise's QB was running with the ball and he faked a Fresno player out of his shoes. When they showed the replay the announcer said "he has more moves than Ex-Lax."

I'll always, always, always root for the Buckeyes as long as I live, but I'm not excited about moving back up and getting into the playoffs via the backdoor. Just sayin.
