Re: Raffle Winner WEDNESDAY@ the MSC
Good Morning Bill and everyone else who happens to wander in to the MSC.
Dreary day (again) at Ringville. Everything outside looks so sad.
Our Christmas shopping is almost done - just a few small items for one of the grandboys and writing a check to Kevin's mom since anything we buy her never meets her approval.
Our daughter and SIL are hosting a Christmas Pizza Dinner on Dec 23. It's getting hard to have all 13 of us together at one time so this is a great option. All are OK with it except my MIL (see above "never meets her approval").
Somehow I strained my neck last week and had the Frankenstein neck/shoulder thing going until Sunday when the pain dropped to my lower back. I'm getting better but sitting for more than 10 mins gives me severe pain when I stand up and try to walk. Laying on a heating pad has worked well but I doing that at work would probably be frowned upon
.
We saw the new Johnny Cash - The Redemption of an American Icon movie last night. It was really good with lots of stuff we never knew.
We haven't been to a theater in ages so the huge recliner thing was new to us
It killed me to stand up and get moving but it was still neat.

Good Morning Gang!
Congrats in advance to the Raffle Winner & thanks to Bill for his holiday generosity. Not that I'm playing favorites (OK, I kinda am
) but hopeful my neighbor a few miles to the East PetalMel has the good fortune to add some cool artwork to her home. Good luck Melissa!
Fairly mild weather for us for this time of year. Temps looking a decent 7-8 degrees above the norm. I'll take it.
Mr. Last Minute needs to get out & get a Birthday gift for my Granddaughter for this weekend. I guess something called a "Diamond Painting Kit" is a gift of choice. Hobby Lobby here I come tonight!
2 weeks from today Winter begins. Enjoy these last 2 weeks of fall

Good morning. When I woke up this morning I was listening to the radio. The traffic report came on and the guy said we had dense fog. I looked out my window and there wasn't a trace of fog. But the guy changed his signoff line. He usually says "be safe and drive happy". Today he said "be safe and drive merry".
I guess it's officially Christmas season, I saw the Corona commercial with the Christmas lights in the palm tree last night.

Good morning, one and all.
Adding my thanks to Bill for being so generous.
Linda, sounds like you need to be wrapped in bubble wrap.
Stuck at the front desk for (more than likely) the next 3 days.
She's out sick. I just wonder why I'm the only on inconvenienced when she's out. I have an appointment tomorrow, and I have to leave by 3:00. I have 2 meetings I have to miss, and they're rather important in doing my job. $^(@%*.
At least E is a sweetheart and is bringing me lunch later today.
<------ grouchy....

I should have checked the weather app on my phone before I went grocery shopping. It's 73 degrees, I could have taken my pants off and put on a pair of shorts.
I'm watching last night's Hurricanes game, they played in Anaheim so it was another late start on the east coast. When the game's over I'll change into shorts and go to the park.

It is 80 degrees!!! Thought I would melt yesterday running errands! Such weird weather.
Wrapped a few gifts late last night. Still need a few more things....just out of ideas.

WooHoo
Just placed an Amazon order for Ryan.
Nothing special, but he will have something to open.
Now to come up with Larry. I am totally out of ideas.

Thanks for the positive vibes! It's an honor just to be nominatedI agree that the weather has been tolerable--the sun this afternoon for a brief minute was nice. Almost felt like March. I am not sure where I am at with Christmas shopping. With young adult kids, it is tough to figure out what size money they wear nowadays. I don't want to get them something too big.......

Wednesday night hockey. After 2 periods Buffalo leads Columbus 9-2. 6 foot 6 inch Buffalo center man Tage Thompson has scored 5 goals so far & added 1 assist. Record for most goals in a game by 1 player is 7 set back in 1920.

Any chance of 60 degree weather while I am up there? We hit a record high of 86 today. Sitting on the back patio having a few beers and watching the fog roll in. Accuweather says it is 69 degrees out but I am ready to turn on the fire place.....
