Pretend to be a Time Traveler THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning Gang! You ever wish you could? Yay or Nay? 24 hour period only. You going forward or backward?
Pretend To Be A Time Traveler Day
On this day of imagination and time-hopping, we go wherever we want.
Without going to deep, I suspect I would like to go backward to experience something or someone that I never did. Like meeting my Mom's dad who passed before I was born. That's first thing that comes to my mind.
Anyone else?

Good late morning Ken.
Time travel? I never gave it much thought so I don't know if I'd like to do it. This will require some pondering.

Morning BNers
Time travel? Nope. Never thought much about it. We do have some mysteries in our family....my maternal Great Granfather went to work at the railroad to get his check and disappeared. It was suspected was killed for his check, but no one knows.
Going to be another 82 degree day. A few years ago, it was snowing on this day.

Re: Pretend to be a Time Traveler THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good afternoon all.
Yes, I would time travel to speak with my Dad's parents a little more. They were 'old' to me when I was a kid. I'd like to know what they went through to get to the United States from Germany and Czechoslovakia.
S.S.D.D here at work. But I think some of the people we're trying to hire couldn't find their way to their cars in a shopping mall, even if they had directions.
Still filling in at the front desk AGAIN.
Time for a drink or twelve..

Re: Pretend to be a Time Traveler THURSDAY @ the MSC
After thinking about it, I would travel back in time for 2 things -
1. When I was a kid, I heard many stories about an ancestor on my mother's side of the family who was supposed to have been a member of the honor guard at Pres. Lincoln's funeral. Nobody had any supporting documentation, just stories that had been passed down from generation to generation. If it's true, I would like to go back and meet him.
2. I'm about to be very shallow.
When I was in college I had a part-time job in a supermarket. One of my co-workers was also a college student, studying nursing. We got to be pretty good friends and I really liked her. She was a beautiful woman, maybe the best looking woman I've ever known. (I told you I was going to be shallow,) She's a year older than I am and we kept in touch for a few months after she graduated and she got a real job but then we kind of just went our separate ways. I never asked her out because I always thought she was out of my league. I'd like to go back to 1974 and see if I had a chance. Go ahead, smack me on the nose with a rolled up newspaper like the dog that I am.

Re: Pretend to be a Time Traveler THURSDAY @ the MSC
I would go back and take back a few things which I did in my younger years........
And also go back and change a day if I could, which would have been as simple as maybe sleeping in another few minutes before going to work, not sure.........but then again, that would have changed destiny and maybe everything which we have today. As the "Tour" was named...."I Don't Know"....... You take away a negative, and it takes away a positive.......
The good Lord has a reason for things to happened in the order they do, and I don't think in the long term that I want to mess with that.....
The most negative experience in my life still shines down on me at times, and reminds me that it wasn't that bad, and there is a heaven.
Just my two cents.
Afternoon BN'ers...

Ryan and Larry were out running errands and brought me a
IN N OUT burger
from our new store. It opened about a week ago. It wasn't as good as a hot one, but I ate it all.
Mmmmmm

Hi there! my fishing buddy is a retired tax preparer and now does my taxes for free. He was instrumental in helping me claim inheritance property. We fished toady. I called him last night and told him I got a reel on sale as a gift. I gave it to him today, then pulled out a quality rod as the big gift. He was touched.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Dropped the big dogs off at the groomers this morning. Left work around 4:45 to go pick them up. They look freaking awesome and smell so much better. Now they are sawing logs.
One more day at the shop and then I'll be home for the weekend to finish up the baking, hang the stockings and wrap the last 3 gifts. I'm also going to make a batch of pepperoni rolls for the freezer.

HURRAY!!!!!
In exchange for an arms terrorist, we are bringing home a basketball player from a Russian prison that was guilty of bringing drugs into their country. However, we are leaving behind a decorated Marine who was captured gathering intelligence (Doing his job) for the United States of America.
This guy is a F&@KI!NG !DO!T!!!!!!!

And the deal was brokered by the very nations that sourced the 9/11 hijackers, too! When did they start negotiating on US behalf?!MICHIPHIN wrote: ↑December 8, 2022 7:04 pm HURRAY!!!!!

But we got a basketball player back.....and excuse now is, she is "Black and a Lesbo", and we promised to get her back.......What the F%CK does that have to do with anything?......A terrorist for a basketball player, that is what we got. And he will claim this as a victory. An embarrassing moment for the U.S.A. globally.
I heard that next week we are giving up 5 Iranian terrorist for the 2 old men that sat in the balcony on the Muppet Show.
