Happy Holiday Food Drive for Needy Animals SUNDAY @ the MSC
Good morning, peoples!
Needed to pull out the laptop so I can pay the keet's college tuition for next semester and figured I could get coffee going to everyone. College life would be better if it wasn't so darn expensive. Today is a morning of laundry and chores then going into Flint for a Christmas music concert where a colleague is singing and playing flute. Sounds like a few people from my old district will be there so hopefully it will be fun.
Just checked in on Moog's post and am sending positive healing vibes his way. Enjoy your day and support the animals who could use some kibble.

Good morning, Mel. Enjoy your concert!
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning. There's rain in our forecast today but so far it's dry. Maybe I'll have another cup of coffee and wait for it to get wet outside.

One of our local brew pubs has a bunch of craft and food vendors, plus Santa. It is also the day that they release their annual Christmas Ale. So that is going to be our afternoon with a few friends.

Re: Happy Holiday Food Drive for Needy Animals SUNDAY @ the MSC
Good morning folks.
Kevin slept in too long to get to our 9:00 church service but I was up at 7 and started the 1st of 2 batches of what we call “crack”. It’s a toffee version of Chex cereal snack mix. This resulted in us not able to get to the 11:00 service. So we will watch on YouTube in a few minutes.
Just when my broken wrist was getting better….brace off and getting some OT, I strained my neck trying to move file boxes at work. It moved from my neck to my lower back and I’m just now able to walk, lay and stand without pain.
I haven’t been at the gym since my broken wrist fall so I’m sure that added to the strain issue. I’m still getting my 10,000 steps in each day but it’s not the same This made me delay the cookie baking process. I fell so far behind in my yearly Christmas activities. This frustrates me to no end.
I will be hitting the gym this week.

Afternoon BNers
It rained off and on all night and is drizzly again. With the rain came a cold front and it is in the 60's. Guess our 80's are over for now. Another gloomy day.
Finally got most of the gifts wrapped and Ryan put them under the tree. Still have a few things coming....

Ran out of steam yesterday, but back at it today. Did 2 loads of laundry, baked the orange pecan cookies, made 3 cheeseballs, peppermint mocha pudding shots and I have 2 more trays of pepperoni rolls to bake. Then the last thing I have to do today is the pecan pie bark. Whew.

The Carolina Panthers are playing on the west coast today so the early game is Giants-Eagles. The Giants are losing 21-0 and it isn't even halftime yet. I think I'll find something else to watch.

Re: Happy Holiday Food Drive for Needy Animals SUNDAY @ the MSC
Good Sunday afternoon, all.
Busy weekend. Non-stop yesterday. Mom visit, grocery and liquor stores, brewery anniversary party, laundry, cooked dinner. (Goulash)
This morning I made cinnamon rolls in the waffle iron. They were great! Crispy outside, soft inside, and done in less than 5 minutes!
More laundry to finish, cooking dinner, finishing putting up the tree, and slicing up the "cathedral windows" chocolate treats for work tomorrow. That's the extent of my baking. Cause there is none!
