It’s a beautiful sunny morning at Ringville. Since we went to church last evening our schedule is clear today.

I will make a double batch of fudge (yuck) and then head to CVS for some scripts and dollar tree for a few small things for the grandsons.

Tried a new “crockpot potatoe soup” recipe yesterday. YUMMMM. It’s what’s for lunch today.

Just finished breakfast at the hotel and now we're packing up for the long drive home. It snowed overnight in Columbus and the dog sitter texted me this morning that the side roads out our way were getting slick and snow covered.
We had a long night as Bryan's sister who made the trip solo from Jersey was drunk and crying on our shoulders. Didn't get to bed till about 2:45. I'm pretty tired. But today is our Christmas with the grandkids. Wish me luck

We are waiting for our new cook top to show up. On Sunday morning??? Yes. That is when it is scheduled. Strange.

And it is 32 degrees! Cooler than I was expecting. Guess it is time to dig out a Christmas shirt.

Laundry is going, coffee being consumed (by E), and we're getting ready to go to brunch. No reason, other than we didn't go to Dukes Friday night, so it's Sunday morning instead.

DU Hockey won last night.

I have so few presents, that I'm going with gift bags instead of wrapping.

I was watching the Frisco Bowl last night, Boise State played North Texas. The announcer said North Texas's quarterback is 29 years old. He played minor league baseball for 6 years before he decided to play college football.

I caught that also.. I was laughing, I have been on both campus's and in the stadium. I was going for the Quad. but the restaurant owned by Duece, has closed.

Does it work automatically when it's in Sabbath mode? Observant Jews aren't supposed to use any type of appliances or mechanical devices. They're not even supposed to use the phone.

Not sure. Still trying to understand the many, many modes. But that makes sense.

Good afternoon. Just watched the 2nd half of the Lions escaping with a victory over the Jets. Jets had a 57 yard field goal attempt with 1 second left to send to OT but not to be.

Had an enjoyable evening last night watching A Christmas Carol play. Pregamed at a nearby brewery (Rochester Mills Beer Co) that features what they call the 12 Days of Milkshake Stout. It’s a pretty big deal here in Michigan. Yesterday had the Chocolate Cheesecake Milkshake Stout & the French Toast Milkshake Stout. Dessert beers for sure.
