Good morning BN. I have always appreciated islands. My first was a small rock pile with bushes in a New Hampshire Lake, That was an adventure paddling by canoe at the age of five.

Good afternoon peoples.

I got an email from Old Chicago a few days ago telling me I had $5 in my rewards account and it was expiring soon, the rewards are only good for 30 days. I think I should have pizza and beer today so I can use my rewards before they expire. Plus, it's 70 degrees so I can take a leisurely stroll in the park after I have lunch.

I forgot to mention something about Las Vegas last week. Toby Keith's I Love This Bar in Harrah's is closed. There's a Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux where it used to be. I had lunch there one day and I was disappointed. We have 2 Walk-Ons here and one of the things they have on the menu is a blackened chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese. I've had it and it's really good. It isn't on the menu at the Las Vegas location so I settled for a burger, which was okay but not great.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANDREA!!!!

Afternoon boys and girls. Today was a stupid busy morning, but this afternoon I've actually found some time to do some boring work (think filing and organizing stuff), that hasn't been done in forever.

Weekend was busy with chores, cooking, and some rest. Nothing new about Mom. Yesterday was foggy, cold, and snowy. We've got the sunshine back today. A few decorations/lights down, but the tree is still up. That's about all I got for now.

Happy Happy Cake Day Andrea!!!

We have an appointment at the vet this Friday for the big Guy. Need to reevaluate the med dosage and go from there regarding his comfort level.

Just landed and made it to my off site airport bar for dinner in the land of the good ole Dr. Corona.

What a crap hole this is......

Plus it was 79 degrees at my house yesterday....

Tilted, not Twisted. It's outside the side entrance of the Flamingo in The Linq Promenade between the Flamingo and the Linq, formerly known as the Imperial Palace. I didn't go there when I was in Vegas, didn't go to Hooters either and Twin Peaks closed a couple of years ago. Five days in Vegas and I didn't go to any boobie restaurants.

There is a place directly across from the TILTED Kilt, across the alley, but can't recall the name. I will be there in early March and submit a full report.

I believe that the Twins was down just outside of Paris, and was only there once...

I enjoy the "Gambling" aspect, but there are MUCH better little towns to do such in rather than Vegas with little dive bars that are equally enjoyable.....

Hurricanes, my "local" team (who are on an 11 game winning streak), and Rangers, the team of my youth. I just checked the channel listing and it shows something called Set Apart on the local cable sports channel instead of the hockey game at 7:00. I hope they forgot to update the listings, I'd like to watch the game.

We had a record breaking 69° today. It was overcast & fairly windy but I enjoyed a chocolate shake at an empty beach for lunch

Work was very 'extra' today. End of year stuff, weekly report to be completed & sent, several monthly reports to be completed & sent along with payroll of which there were several errors that I had to fix before submitting. Oh & all the 'normal' daily stuff too.
