Good afternoon. I had an appointment at the Red Cross to donate platelets this morning but I was deferred, my hemoglobin was low. I was expecting that, I just donated whole blood last week and my hemoglobin's always low the first appointment after a whole blood donation. But the morning wasn't a total loss. It's 65 degrees so I went to the park for a walk, then stopped at Total Wine to replenish my beer supply.

Sounds like we've got similar weather that you have Tammy. Although the snow is just kinda spitting with a few fluffy flakes here & there. Just hanging around 34 degrees all day. Supposed to hang around that temp until nighttime I guess but I think the semi snow is going away.
Burton Cummings of The Guess Who fame is playing tonight over the border at the Windsor Casino. Part of me wants to make a run down there...but an hour fifteen drive Not sure if the juice will be worth the squeeze. Wonder what kind of response "American Woman" gets in Canada...

The dawn has cracked and the sparrows have farted on what looks like a stunning summery Saturday here in Frog Hollow.

I am not sure why we call it Frog Hollow we have neither frogs nor a hollow.

Sunny and 30°C is the guess, errr forecast.

Reggie (the cat) and I woke early - he was hungry and convinced me to give him some of his favourite food, we call it "kitty crack", and I felt like a coffee. So all coffeed up and ready to start spraying some particularly hard to kill weeds.

Just read the safety precautions for this new herbicide This is not pleasant stuff, so if I don't come back you know what happened! (Kidding). I think I will abide by the PPE directions just this once...
