Good morning Linda. It isn't frigid here but it is getting a little chilly. Wednesday afternoon it was 72 degrees, yesterday's high was 47. Today is supposed to be about the same as yesterday, then tonight the forecast is for a low of 25.
Good Morning Part-time retiree & full time retiree. Those to check in.
Chilly is indeed the word here, 4 above with a real feel of -11. So be it. It IS winter after all.
No particular plans this weekend, just flying by the seat of the pants. Hope everyone has an enjoyable one.
BTW....HAPPY BIRTHDAY PENNY

...Gypsy rain, dang hurricanes, white silver sandy shore...
I'm having a late lunch at Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux. It opened back in late October/early November and it's the second location here. The other one is about 11 or 12 miles away, this one is a mile away. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. Now I'm having a Natural Light. It's not a good beer but it's better than I thought it would be. Which means it doesn't taste like fizzy water.

A Natural Light is also known as "Making Love in Canoe" beer......
We are hosting the first "Neighbors Friday Happy Hour" held since prior to Christmas this evening.
My job is liquor and beer, so off to the store. Wife is still out shopping so not sure as to the appetizer and if I will have to fire up the grill or not.
After getting the corticosteroid injections in both knees last week, I thought they were both feeling pretty good. Tuesday night while getting into bed something popped in the left one and then it swelled up almost immediately and now I can't put any weight on it. After two more ortho visits and an MRI, the doc says it's time for new knees. He says if we start the paperwork and consultations now, it'll happen in about 3 months. I start PT next week to try and get in dancing shape for April.
I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Sunny and crisp (-1) at the moment. Work is done for the day. Dog got his last walk of the day, whether he agrees or not. Fireplace on and Mr. Lime is prepping up jerk chicken for dinner.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

I probably should have gone to The Beer Den at my local supermarket, one of the beers they have on tap this week is Beaver Canoe.
