What the hell are the Chinese up to now with these "weather" (wink wink) balloons out & about.
So do we or don't we do a flyby & take it down? Heard the path will take it over North Carolina....but if that sucker drifts a bit south into South Carolina shall we expect our buddy Larry to show off his marksmanship & take aim??!!

Good morning, I was going to shoot it down with my slingshot but a darn crow got in the way….with that being said there’s one less Chinese trained spy crow in the sky this morning.

Freezing cold here in South Centra PA. I'd love to stay inside but the grocery store is calling that it needs some $$ so off I will go a little later today.
At least the sun is shining which helps a little (a tiny little)
CJ! Good morning, Ken and BN. I had sixth graders make hot air balloons from tissue paper and we'd send them up on a calm day. They were the size of a large garbage. Most of the time, the balloons went up 100 feet before losing heat. Sometimes an air current carried them off. Sometimes they caught fire from the fire in a stove pipe. A hot spark would catch the tissue as it went up. A thin wire in the bottom balloon would drop the fireball down slowly. Good times.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

We're off to visit Mom, errands, and then we're checking into a hotel for lots of bar visits (there are 3 of them), dinner, and birthday relaxing for the night.

That would be a little difficult, I don't own any type of firearm and my marksmanship would be lacking. I wasn't in the military, I don't hunt and I don't target shoot, I've never fired a gun in my life..
I went to the park for my daily walk and saw 2 things I didn't expect to see. A softball tournament in sub-40 degree weather. A Chinese balloon with 3 military aircraft circling around.

This just in. They shot it down in the ocean off Myrtle Beach. Larry?
I had just gotten back to my car after my walk in the park. I heard 2 loud booms and looked up. The balloon looked deflated, then it started slowly drifting down. I don't know how far offshore it was but I left the park and drove to the beach. I didn't see any ships at sea or debris in the water.
