Super Bowl SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. I don't follow football, but enjoy the hype . When the Steelers played, a friend took Monday off. If they won, he'd celebrate and drink more. If they lost, he would drink more as well.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Super Bowl SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning guys.
Love football but due to local Lions being so embarrassing over the years have become somewhat apathetic to NFL ball. College football has been my passion.
Used to go to Super Bowl parties but that too has become a thing of the past. So dumb they play the game on Sunday nights! This old working stiff can’t whoop it up partying & then crank it up for a day at the office the next morning.
Supposed to be a bright sunny day ALL day & nearing 50. Will take it for the 2nd week in February here in the Mitten state.
Enjoy your Sunday Funday BN’ers!

Re: Super Bowl SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning everyone.
We started watching football when our son was about 3 yrs old. We became Dallas fans simply because a Brandom decided his favorite color was blue (like his mom) and he knew the shape of a star.
We were faithful fans through the ups and downs but when the game turned “political” with the kneeling and turning of backs during the presentation of our National Anthem we stopped watching.
We have nothing planned for today.

Morning BNers
Used to only watch the SB because of the commercials. But since Patrick Mahomes has become such a big deal, I do watch him. I mean, he did attend Texas Tech University!!!

Re: Super Bowl SUNDAY@ the MSC
There was a 3-way tie for the 9 entries in our soup/chili fest.
After a second round of voting there was a 1st time winner.
White chicken chili.
Pat took home a balloon, an officially signed (by the hosts) 1st place framed certificate, and a mixing bowl filled with cooking utensils.
She also autographed the “coveted golden ladle” (a Dollar Tree ladle spray painted gold). (The ladle stays at Ringville for next years winner to autograph).

Good morning.
I have a dilemma with the S***r B**l. Being a native NYer I can't root for Philadelphia, that's almost as bad as rooting for a team from Boston. On the other hand, if Kansas City wins that means the media, for some unknown reason, will write about Patrick Mahomes's annoying wife and dipstick brother. Is there a way both teams can lose?

Hi there! I buy art stuff before Cabin Fever and Hobby Lobby had 40% off. We drove an hour to find them closed on Sunday. We had a niece Mexican lunch out.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

So... I started the Café this morning ONE minute before Bill. GPHMTA.
We're home from Oklahoma. Was a wonderful time. Have unpacked, and the first (of many) load of laundry is going.
We don't care about the NFL. Lost interest about 5 years ago. Too many poor official calls. Too many misbehaving players. Bears and Broncos have been pretty dismal. I MIGHT have it on to see how the National Anthem is sung. Maybe a few commercials.
Linda - your party sounds fun! I like white chicken chili, without beans.
What other entries were there?

This girl could pose! She was working our preconcert party, did some modelling and would be in the Miss Pennsylvania pageant..

I saw one of the best they're taking on the S***r B**l is what color Gatorade will be dumped on the winning coach.
