Born in San Fran, Cali back in the 80's, lived there for 8 years, and moved to Tampa, lived around Tampa and St. Pete, and then came to Boca Raton in 2002 to attend Florida Atlantic University, still here and goin strong, love Florida, and get to the keys every few months too when I'm lucky..

I grew up in Tallahassee, lived in Tampa for a little while, and I ended up in Gainesville. The worst part of living in Gainesville is being 1 1/2 hours from the beach.

Born in Jacksonville and I've lived here most of my life except for Air Force and college. Getting older now (52) and winters like this past one reminds me there is a whole other Florida (like Key West, Sanibel and Fort Meyers) that is warm year round. May have to move one day to southwest Florida.

I was going to have a clever comeback in either French or Italian, but I just don't have the energy to find the right things to say.
So to some it up no, my days of speaking either French or Italian are gone. There are days I have trouble with English.
However, I am home studying Spanish. With a little luck I should be able to hold a conversation by the end of the year.

Así que lo hace me contesta en español entonces. .....it es muy cerca de italiano de todos modos
I have trouble with english myself, but I am bound and determined to learn Italian so I can teach my son.

That's great about teaching your son Italian. It will be so much easier for him to pick it up as he is learning English at the same time. I want my keets to learn a second language too.
In regards to these posts. You are going to have to put a translation under each, because I just ain't getting it yet.
