Happy Valentine's Day@ the MSC

Good morning BN. We had dated for 2 weeks when Anne had to go to Florida for 3 months as a traveling nurse. Before VD, I sent candy, flowers and gifts over 2 weeks. On VD she got a simple note with a cut heart, one of a pair I made. I asked her to keep it and bring it back so the hearts, like us, could be together. She did.

Good Morning Gang.
Heavy heart this morning as we here in Mid Michigan mourn the sad & useless killing that took place overnight 45 minutes down the road at Michigan State University. Thoughts & prayers to the families involved & those impacted by the shootings.
Happy to hear about the long time relationships amongst the BN couples on this VD. Happy Valentines day to the ladies in my life....Nearly 25 years with my now deceased wife Carol & happy to be in the midst of an 8 year relationship with current fiance Lynn.

Hooters is doing its annual Valentine's Day promotion, Shred Your Ex. You can shred a picture of your ex digitally (or in person in the restaurant, although I've never seen anyone do that) and if you buy 10 wings you get 10 more free. I know I can eat 20 wings but I probably shouldn't. Just in case, I digitally shredded the $h!t out of that picture and I'm ready to go if I feel like having wings today.

I had my wings at Hooters but only the 10 I paid for, I didn't get my 10 free. A few minutes after I got there a young couple came in with 2 little kids. Shortly after they were seated one of the kids started screaming. Neither parent did anything to try to calm him down. I didn't want to sit there listening to that little brat so I ate my wings, drank my beer, paid my bill and left. It's a nice day so I went to the park to walk off some of the calories from the wings and beer.

I absolutely hate that. I get it. Kids scream, cry, and yell. But take them out of the room, or go home.

Nope, 3:30 and he wanted a delivery of red roses to his wife. I told him we were out of red roses and he was welcome to stop in and see what we had left for cash and carry and he said that he was an hour away in Columbus and wouldn't make it back before we closed.
