The Hurricanes played Washington last night, Washington has a player named Joe Snively. Every time the announcer said "Snively has the puck" or any other mention of his name, I thought of Snidely Whiplash from the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons.

It's currently snowing, and 12 degrees. Drive in was pretty crappy. Took me almost an hour, my little car went about 40 mph almost the whole way in. Then there were those who thought it was fine to do 60+.

The work day seems to be a little quieter, so far.

I went grocery shopping and saw a car in the parking lot with the license plate DUUUDE. I wonder if it's a 50-something former frat boy trying to relive his glory days.

Evening all.

Took a little trip with the boat over to Biloxi, MS for a few days. On the way over on Sunday, we cut all the way up into the northern end of the Mobile Bay rather than cutting right thru. Much better than battling some of the freighter traffic and their wakes. Coming home today, we just cut right thru and even stopped at LuLu's for lunch and fuel.

No car washing or T-shirts here. Snowed all day. It's currently wind chill of -5 below. I'm glad the snow is mostly powder, but even that piles up to become difficult driving. Tomorrow and the next several days should be a bit better, and no snow.
