Belated Happy Birthday’s to Larry, Janice & any others I missed!
I need to join this BN retirement movement that seems to be taking place. “Someday I Will “
Enjoy your 19th day of April gang

Good Morning!

Should be a gorgeous weather day here at Ringville. Hopefully a walk around the Twp building at lunch will keep me motivated from then until 4:30.

2 more Judicial Assistants that I worked with have left/leaving the County -- 1 retiring in June (way before she can collect SS) and the other went out on FMLA 8 weeks ago, called in sick the day she was scheduled to return (Monday), then came in yesterday in casual clothing, packed up her personal belongings and said "I'm not taking this s*** anymore" and walked out. I've had several texts asking if I'd be interested in returning.

HAx3 -- I DON"T THINK SO.

Good morning, Ken and Linda. The owner of a summer camp called the following spring to recruit me for that summer. I was 22 at the time of the call. I had such a bad time there, I laughed at the camp owner, telling him I would never come back.

Good morning all!

Was wondering if you were surviving all the tax stuff, Ken!! :o

Gee, Linda - you don't want to deal with that stuff again?? :P

Bill, you can be OUR camp counselor here on BN! ;)

Today is my parents 65th wedding anniversary. Dad's gone 7 years now, and Mom wouldn't remember. :(

It's also the anniversary of the OKC bombing. :(

Busy work day ahead - too many meetings that can just be an email kind of day.

Good morning. I was getting ready to leave for a short one day road trip, I'm going to see Pat Benatar at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center tonight and I always stay overnight when I go to a concert there. I wanted to wait until after what passes for rush hour traffic here, plus check in time at the hotel isn't until 4:00. I thought I could get there about 12:30-1:00, go somewhere for lunch and then maybe see if the room was ready early. Bad timing on my part. They're power washing the buildings this week at my development, 3 buildings today, and my building was supposed to be the 3rd of the 3. I figured they wouldn't get to it until this afternoon and I'd already be gone. They just started my building so unless I want to get soaked I'm trapped inside until they finish the 4th floor. Then I can go outside, get in the elevator and go downstairs to my car. And I forgot to bring my welcome mat inside last night so that's going to be waterlogged for a few days.

Afternoon BNers

Astros lost again yesterday. This is not how I thought World Series champions would start the following year. They just don't seem to be able to get started. Oh well...there are so many games left.

I'm at a place called the Tattooed Moose in North Charleston, it's a dive bar and it definitely lives up (or down) to its dive bar status. I'm having a Cuban sandwich, which is pretty good, and a Moosehead. Too bad they don't have Moose Drool, that's a good beer.

Hi there! Larry, I had a hot Cuban sub for lunch. On the dive bar moose theme a place in the Allegheny national forest called Cougar Bob's has an old mount that newcomers take their photo petting the moose snout. I haven't been there in decades, but I hear it's looking pretty worn.

Seems like you made good travel time even with the power washing delay?

The last few nights we’ve been looking at condos for sale in your development 😊

I've never heard of Moose Drool... but I like Moosehead. I still have a shirt from The Mangy Moose Saloon in Jackson Hole WY. It features the Moosehead label that says "The Moose is Loose at the Mangy Moose" ... I got it in 1988!
