Good morning Linda.

After 2 days with temperatures in the 80s, there's a cold front passing through. It's only going to be about 75 today.

G'morning pholks!

Larry, how cold does it have to get before you put on long pants and/or socks?
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?

Bobby: No.

Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.

I wear socks every day. I'm not a sandals or flip flops person so I'm always wearing sneakers. I usually wait until the temperature is about 50 degrees before I switch from shorts to jeans.

Afternoon BNers

Guess what?
It is RAINING....again.

Ugh. I know it won't be long before we will be begging for rain. But give us a break. At least now, it is just raining and not storming.

Astros actually beat the Angels last night. Another game is getting ready to start. 🧡⚾️💙

Opps...it just started thundering. 🌫🌩

Good afternoon gang!
Been keeping busy at the office lately....plus doing some other personal things other then Buffett on company time
Beautiful day today & trying to figure out how to enjoy tonight while still being fairly productive. We went for a stroll in the park last night so other than a little exercise not really productive. Thinking the walk isn't happening tonight so not sure what ends up happening. TBA..... :pirate:

Chance the Toronto Maple Leafs get swept out by the Florida Panthers tonight. Not expecting it to happen but boy that would lead to another lonnnnnng summer for the Ontarian's over there.
Enjoy your evening everyone.

Afternoon all!

Another beautiful day in Costa Rica!! Spent most of the morning and afternoon at the pool.with just a 'few' drinks..

Getting cleaned up to head to dinner again at the buffet. Last night we their specialty Italian place, the night before was Aisan. Both have been good.

One more full day here. Some rain expected late afternoon tomorrow, which will be nice. We have some gift shopping to do, then we'll pack back up to catch our shuttle back to the Hilton next to the Liberia Airport on Friday.

We depart Saturday afternoon, back to Denver.

It's been great so far!!!

Hi there! It was to be a sunny day with low winds, so I made the 57 mile run to Erie Bay. The day was sunny, but a high haze dulled the sunshine. It was smoke from the fires in northern Alberta following a high jet stream.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Enjoyed some home brew drinks on the upper calamity cove deck before dinner. Now winding down to catch up on some of our dvr’d shows. I’m getting anxious to get some flowers planted and my raised bed started. For some reason I feel far behind schedule but our calendar says I planted last year on May 18 so I guess all is well.

This weekend we plan to borrow the neighbors power washer and hit the front porch and sidewalk as well as the sidewalk by the street. For some reason our HOA Lawn care folks leave black marks on that area and it looks nasty.

Busy week at work. Who knew so many people want sheds, pools and fences on their properties. Plus tons of solar panel installations. When I see the cost of these projects I can only shake my head.

My ankle still hurts from Sunday. Yesterday evening I saw a red spot and swelling and stiffness so I decided it was probably gout.
I went to a walk in clinic at 8:00 this morning and got 2 steroid injections in each cheek. They wouldn't give me anything for pain so I'm gonna call my PCP tomorrow if it's not better. Not going to work on Mother's Day week is not an option.

OUCH! I had what was probably gout in my big toe and even the sheet hurt when it touched it! I say probably because the only way to be certain is to get a needle biopsy of the affected joint and look for uric acid crystals. My doc offered to verify but I declined as the treatment of Advil, ice and elevation would not change if it was or was not gout!

They diagnosed mine with a blood test for uric acid. Called my doctor twice today begging for something for the pain. I can't take Advil. Just Tylenol and that ain't getting it done. 😞
