It's National Flip Flop day -- I have about 40 pairs of them. However, as my feet have aged (but not the rest of me
) I wear them less often.Another hot one here -- we haven't had rain in a very long time. The farmers are already way behind in crop growth which means our local produce will suffer as will our wallets.
Was told last month that we processed 61 permits for April. Which was a record in they think 10 yrs. Yesterday I was told we processed 79 for May.....I'm swamped and people don't know why it takes us so long to push through the paperwork
. If the project is one needing a Building Code review and then inspection we outsource that so the process takes even longer.....(Note to self: "This is your retirement job" -- it ain't worth getting upset over". I have an extremely hard time listening to myself.)
We'll be heading out to our favorite brewery after work.
