it's my short work day and then Kevin & I are headed to Ocean City MD for our 40th anniversary (Sunday). Our friends who own a beach front condo on the 18th floor at 94th street have gifted us a few days to celebrate. It's also the Ocean City Air Show weekend so we will have prime seats for those awesome fighter jets. Of course, we will eat out a few times and enjoy some adult beverages

Good Morning Ladies & Happy Friday Eve!
Congrats on #40 Linda. Hope you & Kevin have a spectacular Anniversary weekend on the beach! Or not on the beach, whichever works for you guys
A "Cars" tribute band in the area Saturday night. Anyone ever hear of a band called "Carpool"? I think they're outta Georgia. Debating about giving them a listen.
Enjoy your Thursday gang!

Good morning. The air quality alert was supposed to end at 9:00 last night, it's been extended until midnight tonight. We had some rain overnight but it's still pretty hazy.
The Carolina Country Music Festival is this weekend, the kickoff concert is tonight then the festival starts tomorrow. That's a good reason to avoid the downtown area around the boardwalk until at least Monday morning. Miranda Lambert is the headliner Sunday night, the festival started in 2015 and I think this is the first time they've had a female artist as a headliner.

UGH....
Lancaster’s air quality has been rated as “hazardous” by the national air quality index AirNow, which recommends everyone should avoid physical activity outside and sensitive groups should remain indoors with low activity. Air quality is measured by the PM2.5 scale, which calculates particles in the air on a 500 point scale. Currently, Lancaster is rated at 457, one of the worst in the country, with normal levels falling in the 0 to 50 range.

Hi there! We had a great night with Mac in Cleveland. Bern and I started at Margaritaville, then across the river to a big bar with outside seating along the water. That bar was connected to the Music Box, a nice venue seating several hundred. Mac was gracious with fans after the show.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Thursday @ the MSC
I went to the state park today, it's oceanfront. I went for a walk on the fishing pier and didn't see anyone catch anything. The water was a beautiful pale greenish blue color and there were a lot of jellyfish, I must have seen at least 50 of them. According to a sign on the pier, they're cannonball jellyfish and they're not harmful to humans. I also saw a bald eagle, what a magnificent looking bird. I was waiting for it to dive bomb the ocean and come away with a fish but it just circled around a few times then flew inland and disappeared behind some trees.
It was pretty clear along the beach, lots of blue sky, but offshore it was much more hazy than anything I had seen in the past 2 days.

Astros are playing another game with Blue Jay's. So far, so good. Yordan Alverz went out in the 3rd with oblick soreness. Anyone know where your oblick is??

And it is storming. Not much rain but lots of thunder.
Oblique...is that better?
