FRIDAY @ the MSC
Good morning all. I was hoping to spend some time at a friends pool today but we’ve got a forecast of T storms.
Sitting at the Hyundai dealership getting my anti theft software install thanks to the TikTok Kiaboys national campaign to have tons of these cars stolen and then trashed. Lancaster county has seen a 200% increase in thefts just this year alone. Seems the challenge has not worn off but continues to gain momentum.
On a much more important note here is a moving YouTube video of a friend of ours and his journey as a Vietnam vet and the burden he carried for 35 years.
Welcome Home.

Good Morning Linda. Best of luck on the car situation.
Very moving video you presented. Thanking your friend for his service indeed. What a situation to go through!
I never really knew anyone who served in Vietnam. I had a cousin who was married to a guy who was born in '48 & definitely in the service prior to me knowing him in 71-72. However I never heard him talk positively that he was in Vietnam & he was definitely out of the service when I came to know him.
Hope the rest of the you BN'ers have an enjoyable day!

Good morning!
Good luck with the car stuff, Linda. What a PITA.. And that stolen car issue is a big thing in the Denver area, too.
The Nuggets parade had over 750,000 people in attendance yesterday.
Got official word from my back surgeon that there IS indeed a broken screw from my last surgery (March 2022), and he's never seen that happen before. Of course I can't sue anyone based on things signed and it was manufactured by Johnson & Johnson. Going to try some pain management (injections to the area that the screw is irritating) first, otherwise it's another back surgery.
Definitely a pretty lousy week... Time for this day to be over!

Afternoon BNers
Speaking of tornadoes, Perryton TX blew away yesterday. . It wasn't very big but people were killed and missing.
If any of your kids read Hank the Cowden books. Hank's writer lives in Perryton. Haven't heard how he is....

Re: FRIDAY @ the MSC
Instead of walking the treadmill at the gym and since it was raining I went with a girlfriend to "walk the mall" (not anything like walking the streets). We did 2 full laps up and down each spoke of the mall. Got my 10,000 steps in already

Today was the first day of the week without any home therapy or doctors appointments. I did some exercises and got a shower
. Bryan made bacon egg and cheese sandwiches for dinner, I could only eat half of mine.

Re: FRIDAY @ the MSC
Hi there! We had a quiet, boring day. The highlight was a great pizza at our favorite bar.
With all the health issues here, we may need a hospital bed back in the pool tble room.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
