Good morning gang!
For many of us today seems like the 2nd Friday we've had this week by working Monday & then having the Tuesday off.
For MANY others who live the retired life....well....Just another day in the game of life I suppose.

Weekend plans....nothing definitive but options abound. Office work, yard work, house work. Couple concerts I've got my eye on Saturday night (90's rockers Collective Soul & Blues artists Mike Zito/Albert Castiglia/Gary Hoey) but they both entail a trip all the way to Detroit so I'm think 25% chance of that happening at best.

Lynn is dog sitting this weekend (AGAIN) so she's semi out of commission for any lengthy getaways from the house.

It wasn't supposed to be as hot over the weekend as it was earlier in the week but it's already 88 degrees and the heat index is 101. Maybe the grumpy old man will go to The Grumpy Monk and have a burger and a beer for lunch.

It’s really dumpling water from the sky right now. I had plans to swim at a friends today. Waiting to hear if she is also getting rained on.

Accompanied Kevin to Costco this morning to meet the hearing aid folks. Now we have a BJs and costco membership. Even so we won’t shop at Costco. It’s 3 times as far for us than BJs but BJs doesn’t sell hearing aids.

I'm at The Grumpy Monk having a beer called Der Jagermeister Beer. It's a hazy IPA and it doesn't taste anything like Jagermeister. When my buffalo chicken sandwich is ready I hope it tastes like chicken.

Work has been another busy one, and I'm so NOT motivated. And my desk is close to the breakroom, and someone just reheated a stinky lunch. Rude.

Going out with friends tonight to a new place nearby. They went to Costa Rica the week before we did, so we're comparing pictures and stories.

I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt today that said I'M THE NICEST A$$HOLE YOU EVER MET. That may be true but doesn't it mean you're still an a$$hole?

So far, I have 41 "SUPERSTAR" and MICKEY" keychains and Disney earrings bagged and tagged and ready for Disneu (mostly bus drivers.) Using a scooter is a PIA for the bus drivers and I like letting them know how much they are appreciated. The earrings are new this trip...not sure how many female drivers I will run into. I can also give them to cast members. I have supplies to make more keychains. Maybe I will make more during the Astros game.
