Good Morning. I've been awake since 4:45...no idea what prompted this. Glad I don't have too many of these early mornings.
Hoping to get to a friend's pool today.

Good morning, Linda. We are 33 miles from the prison break, the state is under a drought watch, but the rest of the day is okay.

Good morning Linda, Bill, and Dave!
We both were awake around 6:30, so we were ready to start the day. Sunny and upper 80's today, and no rain predicted!! Finally.
Making breakfast, finishing laundry, working on Roku and FireStick TV so we can (hopefully) disconnect the DIRECTV (which makes me sad since I worked for them for so long).

Good morning. The temperature is still in the 80s but the heat index is over 100. It looks pretty nice out but Mr. Weekend Weather Guy says we could have "strong storms" today.

I feel pretty freaking good

Yesterday I made Bryan some Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies and Broccoli cheese soup for dinner. Then we had some relaxing time in the hot tub. It's the first time I've been in the hot tub since I fell and was in the hospital. So that was a big deal for me! Doing laundry today and then Bryan has requested Taco Soup for dinner tonight! Have a great Sunday

That has to be bitter-sweet indeed... Will you be able to get your local sports with that set-up.

Afternoon BNers
Another hot day...what a surprise.
Astros are loosing to Mariners again. This is getting old. Don't know why the Mariners seem to have their numbers. Sure wish the injured players would come back.

The weather app on my phone says it's 92 degrees and the heat index is 105. I just got back from a walk in the park and it didn't feel that hot. There was a nice breeze, I drank a bottle of water while I was walking, stopped at a water fountain to refill it and drank that before I got back to my car, then refilled it again when I got home and drank that. Now I'll be in and out of the bathroom for the rest of the day.

Maybe I'll have some cherries before I crack the first beer.

Aloha, peeps.
Quiet day in Limeville. Kind of grey but rain holding off. Supposed to be like this for the next few days. I don’t mind, keeps the temps down and the wildfire smoke away.
My two best gfs from NJ are visiting this week, can’t wait. We haven’t seen each other in person for almost five years!

Not that we have found yet.

Still working on it. We think that the FireStick for the livingroom and Roku for the bedroom and office are our best choices, then add a couple of channels (so far just Discovery+ will cover most of what we want).

Tho I'm sure Mr. SPH doesn't mind.

And your team could be as bad as the Cardinals and Rockies, ya know.

Don't mind at all! Taking 3 out of 4 in Houston is a good way to go into the break.
