Good Morning Everybody!
Do you have the chain of 7-Eleven convenience stores in your home town? We don't -- the closest are probably 45 mins away and are in the direction of the beach. They are on every street corner in the Ocean City, MD area.
We've had the wettest July in ages for our area.....makes sense since we had the hottest June in ages

Morning BNers
Another sleepless night. This one is allergy related. I have sneezed and blown my nose about all night. I have a Dr appt tomorrow for a steriod shot. That will help dry me up for awhile.
Yes. We have 1 7-11 in this area
Of course we were in that area yesterday.
Everyone have a good day.

Good Morning Gang!
I've seen one 7/11 just south of town but I'm not sure if it's actually open. Think maybe the signage was just never taken down. But the glut of "stop & robs' are lonnnng gone around these parts!
Hope your steroid serves you well Molly
Enjoy your 11th day of July everyone.

Good morning. Buffett's free show on the beach in Gulf Shores was 13 years ago today. It was very hot that day.
There's a 7/11 about 1/2 mile away from me. My last apartment on Long Island there was one a couple of blocks away. When I was still working it would have been a perfect place to get a cup of coffee for the train ride into Penn Station but my local train station (also walking distance from my apartment) was in the other direction. I waited until I got to the office where I could go to the cafeteria and get my coffee for free.

Hi there! The only 7/11 I was in had a nasty accident. It was in my college town. A customer got mad and rammed his car through the glass front.

Good morning/afternoon!
Another stupid busy day at work.. but at least my boss is over at our Denver Hospital and out of my hair. (Yes, I like him but it's nicer when he's not here).
We have two 7-11's near us. One is 0.2 miles and the other is 0.4 miles away. One used to be a Circle K, but changed about a year ago. Rarely stop in them.
Finally cut the cord with DIRECTV last night. It was sad for me, but the $$ will make much happier.
Otherwise the usual here..
Good luck, Molly!!

There's no Pelicans baseball until Friday. The Carolina League is taking a few days off at the same time as the major league All Star Game, but they're not having their own All Star Game. They haven't had one since 2019. No minor league baseball in 2020 and no All Star Game in the 3 years since then.

So what did you end up doing, MsMod?
We have xfinity/comcast for everything... land line, broadband, TV, and wireless. At one point we had different providers for each, but we've been bundled for many years. I'd like to cut our monthly costs, but I don't know how/what I would do differently.

Yeah! Drugs finally kicked in and I napped about 3 hours. Not great, but better than nothing.

We have a FireTV (from Amazon) and Roku sticks. The streaming services we have are Hulu, Discovery+, PrimeTV, and my son's Netflix. Home phone and internet is Century Link (we've had forever) and cell phones are Verizon (also a long time). I learned today (from Funkhouse/Jeff) that Verizon does bundle some of the streaming services and we would be able to add ESPN and Disney+, so we'll look into that. It'll be around $225 for everything (Phones, internet, TV) where it was close to $400

We have two 7-11s in town ever since they took over the locations of both of our 2 White Hens, which was a local C-store. But I can not think of the last time I was in either one of them. I make coffee at home and was never a fan of the brain-freeze-causing Slurpee!

Spent time in the studio working in wood and paint. Fresh wood sawdust smells good to me.
