Good morning BN. Storms keep me off water today, so it's a gym trip.

Good Morning Bill and all those who wander in to the MSC.

Quiet day for us here at Ringville. Well, Kevin works from home and the shower guys are finally done drilling, banging, chopping, etc. so hopefully it will be quiet for Kevin . The plumbing work that was done 3 yrs ago was confirmed (for the 2nd time) to be a complete disaster of a job. We thought we were lucky and found the same tile so it wasn't a complete floor to ceiling gut job but the new tile is a little darker and it's obvious to us but hopefully when we sell in a few years (to move south) it won't be to any prospective buyer. We are drafting a letter to the original contractor pleading our case and asking if he would consider refunding some of our money. We've got no recourse any other way so it he doesn't reply then (and I HATE this saying)
"it is what it is".

Work has slowed down a little for me which is nice -- gives me a chance to get all permit paperwork scanned into the data base so it's easier to find than combing through boxes of hard copies.

It is Dr day for Rx refills and steriod shot...yeah. But it will help me breathe.

Good afternoon. I had to do a little grocery shopping and I had a coupon from the store for $10 off if I spent $50 or more. One of the things I bought was paper towels, they were on sale and I saved $5.50 on a 4 roll package. That brought my total down to a little over $48 so I couldn't use the $10 coupon. If the paper towels weren't on sale I would have saved $10 instead of $5.50. Even my Wednesday 5% senior citizen discount didn't make up the difference. I couldn't run and grab a 6 pack off the shelf to bring it over $50, the coupon says it excludes alcohol, gift cards and a few other things. I hate leaving discounts on the table.

I ventured out all by myself today and went to get my nails did. I'm thinking about going back to work next week but like Monday Wednesday and Friday for half a day until I get some stamina back. I went and had my MRI'S done yesterday so I'm winding down on all of the follow up appointments so that's good.
The middle daughter is coming home tomorrow for about a week before she goes back to Colorado for her 2nd contract!

She's been doing travel nursing. She's completed her first 13 week contract and then she's been contracted for a second 13 week period. She's a surgical nurse.

Good luck with that... and I HATE that saying, too!!

So today was a LONG day, and I wasn't at work.

I had a "Lumbar Medial Branch Blocks/Left L1 hardware block" - hoping to get some relief around the area that has a broken screw from my last spinal fusion. So far I have a little relief, but it's hard to tell yet because I'm sore from uncomfortable 'bed' I was laying on for 2 hours. Keeping my fingers crossed it'll help a little bit. I will say that the people (Dr.'s, nurses, anesthesiologists, and such) were some of the nicest people I've ever had.

However - today, and at several of my Dr.'s, they all have this HORRIBLE blood pressure cuff that squeezes the hell out of your arm, that I already have bruises starting...

Time for ice and couch time, and back to work tomorrow.

Thank goodness for E. He was wonderful today, and got me McDonalds after I was done, cause I was SO hungry.

What a day. Saw our GP for drug rewrite and steriod Shot. I swear, the nurse was the best. She apologized for hurting me....didn't even feel the shot!!

Then we met Larry at In N Out for lunch ....Yummy!!

After Ryan and I went to Walmart. Found almost everything on our list. But wow was it hot again. Hate black asphalt.

She really has enjoyed Colorado! She's already signed up for a second contract.
