Good Morning!
Enjoy your day wherever you are!
We're heading to our local German Club (
https://lancasterliederkranz.com) for the annual Parrotfest. Jimmy & the Parrots will provide the music. This is an awesome event and a HUGE $ maker for the Club. It will probably be super hot (again this year).

Morning Linda, Dave, Molly & BN!
I've always loved Saturdays! As a kid, it meant no school. As an adult, it means no work
Weather guessers are calling for a great weekend around here. Mid to upper 80's and low humidity!
We're headed to my aunt's for pool time & probably cook something on the grill with them.
Here's hoping everyone's Sat is extra special today!

Good morning. We're supposed to have less heat and humidity today. I guess that means the heat index will be about 100 instead of 108.

Sitting outside the visitor center in the shade with a nice breeze. It is a warm breeze, but a breeze is a breeze.
It is only 90 but feels like 102°

Mr. Weather Guy was right, the heat index is only 99. First day this week it hasn't hit 100. But the actual temperature is 94 and that's the hottest it's been all week.

Hi there! i took my 83 year old buddy fishing on an electric only lake. A kayaker was fishing close enough to visit, but my friend hates feeling crowded and said."Can't we move? I hate this guy!" my friend is very deaf. He's loud. Sound travels over water. I moved.

What a day. After we got our passes updated, we had lunch at Disney Springs
We were enjoying Mexican food and finishing up. Larry started to move his chair a tad when he disappeared! The back and legs broke and the chair just collapsed!! He hit the floor. Our waitress ran over to see what happened and the manager came over. They were going to call medical, but Larry seems to be OK, just sore and bruised. They comped most of the meal and kept checking on him.
Then we got to our room and unloaded the car. Not sure why we always bring so much stuff.
The we caught a Disney bus and went to Animal Kingdom. We got to AK and a bus was in the wrong space and the driver couldn't get the ramp down. So everyone got off the bus but me. We sat for a few minutes. Instead of getting off on #8, he drove me around to #15. He was fussing about the other bus driver but was very nice to me.
So day one is done. Let's hope tomorrow is better and Larry isn't too sore.

I was thinking of going to the Pelicans game tonight, I'm glad I changed my mind. It started pouring about 15 minutes ago and now thunder and lightning have been added to the mix.

To all of you retired folks:
![yum [smilie=yum.gif]](./images/smilies/yum.gif)
HUSH. And for what it's worth, it Saturday!
Visited Mom this morning, tho she slept most of it again.
Grocery store pick up (I'm no help in carrying groceries today). We also had our liquor store order delivered for the same reason.
E did most of the dinner cooking, I can't do it all without use of my left hand.
Thumb is starting to throb- not unbearable, just really uncomfortable.
So I've taken some OTC sleepy meds and I'm off to the couch.. I'm sure I'll be asleep within minutes.
Everyone stay cool... and Molly? I hope Larry doesn't hurt too much.
