Hello Everybody!!!

The Parrotfest at the Liederkranz was amazing - the weather was perfect and the crowd was in full-on party time mode. (but, it also made us miss our Buffett shows/tailgates/meet ups with all of you).

Good morning. It isn't as hot as it's been the last week or so, the temperature was in the 70s when I woke up this morning and it might not make it to 90 today.

Well, I was there last night, and during the night, but I was awake at 6:30. Only two more days with the big bandages on, then I can dial it back to just band-aids.

Made some breakfast, just eggs/sausage/toast. Work on some laundry and some resting before E and I make dinner. Yes, I'm allowing him in my kitchen.

We both laughed. And mostly it was for heavy lifting.

Got in some pool time and a few errands. We had planned to head to the local Park amphitheater to hear Sonny Landreth but it’s too hot to sit out in the sun for a few hours before sundown with no trees for shade

Hi there! I fished with an old friend who moved to Maryland and was home for a visit. He has had great adventures including an Atlantic crossing by sailboat that took 14 days due to a hurricane. He and the boat owner never went below deck to sleep the whole trip, taking naps when they could.

Our middle daughter flew back to Colorado this morning for her second contract.
I've done a whole lotta nuthin since I got laundry done yesterday. Bryan is off tomorrow for the basement kitchen countertop installation and he's also off Tuesday for my follow up with the neurologist. I'll be working tomorrow.
Oh yeah I celebrated a trip around the sun today

Good evening pholks.
Journeyed northbound 4+ hours this afternoon & arrived in Michigan’s Upper peninsula, specifically St.Ignace MI.
Tomorrow morning We will hit the road another 1+ hours north to visit the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, featuring the Edmund Fitzgerald Museum. After that plan is to visit Tahquamenon Falls, the 3rd tallest east of the Mississippi I believe.

Our trip come Tuesday will include going through the Sceney National Wildlife Refuge & doing a Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore boat cruise. Looking forward to it all.

He is! He was at this same venue a few yrs back.
