Good morning dear ones.
E and I both have colds (our first in a zillion years), and I can't sleep. Been awake for about an hour now.
Today begins the process of all the stuff we have to do for Mom’s passing. Luckily she had very little 'things' left in her room. There is a wonderful picture of her and my Dad that I will take, and there's a couple of things my sister will take. The rest will be donated or trashed. We'll meet with the mortuary later this week.
I get my thumb stitches out today!
Make it your best day!!

My mom passed in 2001 and it took my two brothers and me awhile to go thru all her stuff and sell her house. Sandra's mom is 98 and in memory care but she lived with us for 12 years prior to moving there 2 years ago.
We can relate to what you're going thru and you have our condolences.

Thanks all of you.
Mom was in a single room. There's only some clothes, a couple of things on the wall, a lamp, a table, and a night stand. That's it. We took care of getting rid of most everything when we moved them to Assisted Living, and sold their house, in 2015. Then reduced it even more when Mom moved to just Memory Care.
... Making phone calls and sending emails today. Fun Fun..

Good thoughts for Penny, E and Cameron.
I went downstairs to get my mail. It's 92 degrees and the heat index is 107. The walk to my mailbox was my exercise for today. Tomorrow is the Pelicans first home game in 2 weeks but it's supposed to be hotter than today. I don't think tomorrow's game will be my game of the month.

Hi there! It was a GREAT WEEKEND in Cleveland. We had a fire pit Friday night , a house concert party Saturday and a lake cruise Sunday with a great yacht rock cover band. One thousand people loaded minutes before a deluge hit. The main deck was covered, The upper decks had open sides.
At the house party, I painted a 3x6 foot flamingo scene on a wall in a huge rec room dedicated to trop rock stuff. The hostess liked it so much, she wants the whole wall (12 feet long) painted.
I'm gonna need a bigger brush.

Today the 'fun' began for Kathy and me. Making call after call to let them know of Mom’s passing. Tho everyone I spoke with was so kind. To top it all off, E and I have had a cold since Friday. First one in a forever. We'll be cleaning out the few things in her room on Saturday.
Best part? I got the stitches out of my thumb!!
Again, thanks to all of you,
