Another HOT day. It hasn't rained in 33 day and things are burning up. We are under a heat and fire ban. Tired of triple digit temps.

Good afternoon Linda and Molly.

Holy crap, did we have a thunderstorm last night. The sky was lit up with lightning, wind gusts as high as 45 mph and heavy rain. Luckily it only lasted about 25-30 minutes. The one good thing was the temperature dropped about 15 degrees after the storm blew through. We had another storm this morning, minus the lightning and wind. Now it's a sunny day but the temperature is supposed to be 93 with a heat index of 107. I guess that's better than yesterday's high of 95 degrees and a heat index of 111. I think walking to my mailbox will be my exercise for the second day in a row.

Hi there! We had an early appointment out of town and after 3 days of revelries, I took a nap.

I went downstairs to get my mail. As I was walking across the parking lot I looked down and there was a $5 bill on the ground. And I didn't get any bills in the mail so I'm on the profit side of the ledger today.

I went to work for a couple of hours to try and catch up some stuff. Then came home to work on some more of Mom's stuff.

The cold is still super annoying, so I'm gonna take a nap soon (which I never do).

That's about all for now.

Raining buckets all day, and thunder, too. Took care of most of my indoor chores. Squeezed in a couple of dog walks between deluges.
