Good Morning Ken & all BNers!!
Woke up to a lot of moisture on the outside of the downstairs windows -- that means the humidity is back

.
We took a 1 mile walk around a local lake with grandson Austin. Good thing the whole dirt packed path is protected by tons of large old trees since it was so hot.
We had bought tickets to a local "traveling" music/theater production for last night long before we were asked to have Austin for the weekend. The program is a "pay what you will" so the tickets were inexpensive. We bought one more for him but he didn't seem to want to go watch people sing and dance. We played the "Mean" card and said we are going. He LOVED it! Singing by hugely talented musicians, Guitars, banjos, fiddles, and an upright base with dancing of Lots of old-time hymns and familiar secular tunes.
Not sure what we will be doing until 9:00 tonight once we get home from church at noon. Maybe a round of mini golf.

Good morning Ken, Linda, Deb, and BN!
E and I will be doing that dog-sitting thing again for my sister and BIL next weekend, Ken.
Linda? I love the 'mean card'.
Making biscuits and gravy (and scrambled eggs) for breakfast this morning. Cameron's working, but his gal Sarah is coming over.
Making pork tenderloin, potato pancakes, applesauce and corn for dinner.
Otherwise, working on laundry and other chores. Temps only in the low 70's.
And starting to work on Mom's obituary. My sister said I write better than she does.
Happy Sunday!!

Morning BNers
Got up early to watch the races. Turned on the computer and it is raining in Topeka, Kansas. Wish we could get some of that here.
Astros beat the Angels again last night. Not sure where these hits are coming from, but I am not complaining.

Mr. Weather Guy wasn't kidding about the heat advisory, the temperature was
only 91 but the heat index was 116.

No walk in the park, or around the neighborhood, for me today.

That's too hot! I'm redesigning the Cleveland logo and need a break. Lettering is tough. I'd rather be painting.

Our weather was unexpectedly nice today... until about 4 when it started pouring- which is what had been forecast for all day.

Then the sun came out, bright blue skies... with THUNDER AND LIGHTNING!

it was the strangest thing! Anyway, the humidity broke after the storm, so I was able to get a nice walk in after dinner. We have has a LOT of rain... I have never seen our lawn so green in August, and I think we have had our sprinklers on maybe 4 times since spring - mostly to make sure a treatment got watered in properly!
