Off to work we go (at least Kevin & I do). Not much else going on today. Kevin kegged the Scottish Ale he made 2 weeks ago. We may have out of state guests next weekend so it should be ready to go.

We're supposed to get a break from the heat today, it was only 77 degrees when I woke up this morning, but we're also supposed to get thunderstorms in the afternoon. I guess you take the good with the bad.

I think I was a little tired last night. Fell asleep on the couch at 8:00!! E finally nudged me to bed around 10:30 and woke up at 5:00 to the alarm. Most I've slept in a long time.

HOT today, near 95, low humidity of about 25%.

Still working on Mom's obituary, hope to finish tonight.

Yeah! It is exterminator day. Been trying to pick some some.

It is only 95 degrees. WooHoo. But rain is maybe forecast. Not holding my breath.

And Astros pulled out a win in the 8th. But Altuve was injured with his first at bat. One more game with Miami at 5:40

With all the hot and humid weather we've been having, I was doing my walking in air conditioned comfort at the mall. The temperature was in the mid 80s today and the heat index was in the low 90s instead of 115 so I went to the park. It was nice to be back outside, except for all the goose poop.

The sky started getting dark so I cut my walk short because there were thunderstorms in the afternoon forecast. I made it home without any rain and we still haven't had any.

Hi there! I was well enough to boat and fish today. It was cool most of the day and it lightly rained. When the sun did come out I felt hot, for 15 minutes.

I worked until about 2:30 today. Bryan got home just before 5:00 and I had sent out an SOS for some help with moving some heavy furniture down to the newly finished basement. The guys showed up on time and in about 25 minutes they moved a sofa to the garage for donating and 2 heavy sections of our sectional downstairs and a heavy area rug up and our new recliners inside from the garage. Whew. We are waiting for our final piece of new furniture which is a small reclining loveseat. Hopefully this will open up some room in the small living room!
