Good Morning!

Heading out in a few hours to pickup and transport a church friend who is unable to drive. I'm disappointed that all 3 of my "pool owning" friends are busy which means I can be a pool lady of leisure today . So, I will walk the mall with another friend.

Kevin is "medical procedure prepping" today so we won't be going anywhere (except to drop off my car at the local mechanic for an oil change).

Laundry day here in the Valley. Not much else going on, unless I decide to go do some dollar store/big lots shopping for cheap glasses and wine glasses for the basement kitchen.

Dog sitting at my sister's. BN doesn't like their IP address, so I had to disconnect the wifi to say hello!

Not much going on, which is great. Just cooking breakfasts and dinners.

Their garage door went wacky, we closed it and it opened right back up again.

E went to go pick up a few dozen farm eggs. YUM!

Off to go clean up dishes.

I got to the park and it was empty. My car was the only one in the parking lot, none of the baseball or softball fields were being used and the only dog I saw was a little Yorkie in a baby stroller being pushed by some putz.

Check to make sure there is nothing blocking the beam between the electric eyes on the garage door. Sometimes even something as simple as a cobweb can trigger the reversal. Or the door may be "traveling" just a tad too far and hitting the ground hard enough to cause this too. (Yes, I have a lot of garage door opener "weirdness" to deal with in the 39+ years of having them!)

Hi there! I had a short float on the rover due to poor conditions, but it was sunny, warm and summer ends soon.

Did a 2.5 mile walk at the mall.

Heading out with that same friend to our local park summer concert series show. Next Sunday is the last for this season.

Tonight is Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore with The Guilty Ones.

Laundry is done and put away. Bryan hung a new tv in the basement bedroom and one in the spare room on the main level. I just got finished making Sweet and Spicy Orange Chicken for dinner. It's simmering and all that I need to do is make rice.

Unlike Linda we DID get the pool invite today. As I speak back of my neck feeling slightly toasty. Yesterday weed whacked for better part of hour so definitely sun exposure after tacking on pool time today was somewhat extreme. Not the best for a red head.
Other than that gearing up for another work week along with some dental work that includes a filling or 2. Oh joy.

Well, this was not a good sports day for me. Astros lost 3 in a row. And our guy at the races had mechanical trouble and lost in the first round. Ugh
