Good morning Bill and BN!

I have my cleaning supplies ready. ;)

Another hot day in the upper 90's here. Work is same. Passed 5 years, and nothing more in my paycheck, and nothing from my boss.

Just plugging along..

Good Morning Bill & Penny...& to the visitors who stop by later.
Heart goes out to those who indeed have major cleanups to do in Florida, Georgia & South Carolina. Here in the Great Lake State some cleanup took place end of last week from some tornado action, closest being about 40 minutes to the southwest of us. Our current weather conditions are great.
Enjoy your day

Good morning. Lots of rain, some pretty strong wind gusts and flooding in the low lying areas closer to the beach, but nothing too bad in my neighborhood. On the 11:00 news they said some of the inland parts of the county had 11 inches of rain. Our forecast was lowered from 4-6 inches to 2-4 and we wound up getting about 6 inches of rain anyway. There were reports of 3 tornadoes touching down, the closest was about 25 miles away. The wind has died down and it's pretty nice out now.

I checked the weather app on my phone about 6:00 last night and between warnings, watches and special weather statements, I had 11 alerts. :o

Good morning. I'm just across the river from Savannah in South Carolina and we got pretty lucky. It wasn't nearly as bad as predicted for which I'm very thankful. Lots of trees down and some power outages but most have been restored by now. You just never know with these things.

It rained here in the Upper LH Corner too; another .01"....
That puts us up to nearly half an inch (.48") for the month.
Be safe down there in the Lower RH Corner!

I should have gone to the beach instead of the park for my daily walk today. The day after a storm like we had yesterday is a good time to go looking for shells.

Yeah, the "then some" is that my salary has only increased .87 cents an hour in those 5 years.

Car is packed except for the small cooler we keep behind the seat with water and snacks.

Oh, and Kevin’s guitar. One of them.
