As the "month of Linda" comes to an end we are heady to a "crab shack" on the waterway about an hour from us in North East MD. Hopefully the weather guessers are right -- calling for sun and low 70's today. Next week we are to have 3-4 days of high 70's low 80's. I'll take it !!!

Good morning Penny, Dave and Linda. Since I retired I only set my alarm when I have something to do in the morning or if I'm traveling and I have to be at the airport early. Otherwise I wake up when I wake up. Today that was 7:30, which is a little earlier than usual.

I'll be heading to Total Wine at noon, they're having another one of their beer tasting classes today. This one is Oktoberfest beers and I hope they have at least a couple that I haven't had before among the 8 we'll be tasting. It probably should have been scheduled a little earlier in the month since Oktoberfest started 2 weeks ago.

I got to Total Wine a few minutes early and I'm checking out the list of Oktoberfest beers for the tasting class, no new ones. They only have one from the five local breweries and that's the only one I've tried before.

Bryan went to downtown Columbus this morning to get rid of malfunctioning gun at the firearm buy back program. He got there at 11:30 and got done at 2:30. He's on his way home but had to stop by the grocery store. We're having his parents to dinner tomorrow. So when he gets home I'll be making an Apple Pie, marinating some ribs that will be BBQ 'd tomorrow, along with potato salad and fresh green beans. I've been cleaning and doing laundry in preparation. I'm ready for a shower and a margarita
