National Techies Day on October 3rd encourages students to consider a career in technology. With so many opportunities in the growing technology field, students seeking a career in technology will find promising choices anywhere they look.

In 2012, Engine Advocacy commissioned a report by the Bay Area Council Economic Institute in California. According to the report, for every high-tech job, four more jobs are created. That's a lot of economic boost created by one industry.

It's my day off. I'm straightening up the house before my cleaners come tomorrow. I'm going to do a load of laundry, clean up the kitchen before I make a double batch of Italian meatballs for the freezer. I'm also going to whip up a batch of Pumpkin Pie Pudding Shots. I hat to open a large can of pumpkin to use less than a cup, but if Bryan can't find a small can on his way home I'll have to just take one for the team and make a loaf of Pumpkin Pecan Bread.
We're Having Cheeseburgers in Paradise tonight. Bryan said I even bought you some Heinz 57! Not sure if we'll have leftover potato salad or French fries potatoes

We are home and it is raining!!!!! WooHoo

We had a great trip to Nashville. Got to eat at Margaritaville twice. The first trip there was a memorial for Jimmy on the stage. That was Fri and by Sat, it was gone.

We saw 2 great Little Feat shows at the Ryman. Fantastic music. And got to see so many Featcampers. Like PHs, only see them a few times a year. Instead of going to Jamaica, it looks like the Cancun is the destination for Featcamp. 🏖

And we woke up to rain this morning!!

Good morning. I'm definitely not a techie. I can use a computer and a smartphone but I know nothing about the inner workings of either device. And I'm OK with that.

Trust me. I am well aware.

Thank goodness we have seat warmers. I used them almost every minute we were traveling. I used a heating pad in our rooms. I had a pillow at the shows and used my rollator when walking on the sidewalks. About the time I think my pain is better, I am wrong.

We have no kitchen.

The builder arrived yesterday and started the rip out. Halfway through the demolition, Mrs Rabz got in his ear.

Apparently the layout and design we had agreed and quoted is now all changed. I wonder how much that is going to cost me?

It is raining again. It was raining this morning and then drizzled most of the day. But now it is pouring. It probably won't last long but we appreciate every drop.

Being a techie? Nope. I can't even use a computer much any more. I pretty much do everything on my phone.
