Good morning and it's actually Wednesday just about everywhere....

I've got nothing spectacular going on. Just a regular workday and then gathering some things for our first trip to the Adirondacks Thursday-Monday.
It looks like they are scheduled for lots of rain

Not much going on here, either. And no trips planned yet.

But it is our "Thursday", since we're both off on Friday to finalize plans for Mom's party on Saturday.

I have to stop at the bank to cash a $4 check from a mail in rebate I got for buying a 12 pack sampler from Lagunitas Brewing back in July. Then I'll go to the supermarket so I can get my Wednesday 5% senior discount. Such an exciting life.

This morning was even more exciting than I thought it would be. I also went to the recycling center to get rid of a month's worth of empty beer cans, then I went to a place called IdentoGO to apply for TSA Precheck. You can do the first part of the application online but for the next step you have to go in person. The woman who took care of me said they've been instructed to tell people they'll get an email with their Known Traveler Number in anywhere from 2 to 30 days, but most people get it within 24-72 hours.

Now maybe I'll go somewhere for lunch, I didn't get anything for sandwiches when I was at the supermarket.

I think ours took about a week. Watch for it to go to your spam folder, cause mine did, but E's didn't.

Being a former New Yorker, where I was surrounded by good Italian restaurants, I'm ashamed to admit this. I went to Olive Garden for lunch. But in my defense, I had a $15 gift card from the Red Cross for one of my platelet donations. And the cheesecake I had for dessert was pretty good.
