Good morning. It's been overcast all morning and there's a slight chance of rain this afternoon. But since a slight chance of rain also means a greater chance of no rain, I'll have to find something to do outside.

Gray and overcast here, but after several consecutive days over 80, necessitating running the A/C upstairs, I don't mind!
One of the trees in our woods has a patch of yellow - very striking against the rest of the green leaves - a harbinger of fall indeed!

The Wild Bunch was on TCM overnight, it started at 2:15am. I haven't seen it in a few years so I DVR'd it and I'm watching it now. I should have a beer while I watch it.

Howdy boys and girls. Woke up early, and we both have had the day off. We took it off in case we were needed at my sisters house for Mom's party tomorrow. Wasn't needed over there, tho.

I picked up new glasses this morning. So far so good. Always a pain to get used to new glasses, tho.

I did laundry and finished it all, so I don't have to do any more this weekend.

Today is my Dad's 96th birthday. And it's strange we're having Mom's Celebration of Life party tomorrow.

We're heading out to our favorite Friday night restaurant in about an hour.

I have heard it is a crazy-long process now! Even folks who paid to have it expedited have had to wait several months! Mine expires in August - we have no plans to travel but I think I will make an appointment with AAA to get mine renewed soon. I just hate that you need to send in your current one with the paperwork even though it still has time left on it...
