Good morning. Yawn.
The Adirondacks are beautiful although we woke up to rain which is expected through Monday (when we leave

). Not sure of our plans for today but we’re thinking to take the 20 min drive to lake placid and tour the winter Olympic venue.

Good morning, sistah & BN!
All that rain is headed this way later. After some housekeeping and chores I’m off to the seafood market. We’re going to attempt a Thai seafood stew that we had recently.
Have a wonderful weekend, y’all!

Good morning Linda and Nancy. It's a beautiful day here, in the low 70s with a slight chance of rain this afternoon, like yesterday.

Morning BNers
I am gearing up for the first playoff game today. I have not seen an Astros game since before we went to Nashville so I am getting excited.
Go 'Stros!!

The annual pumpkin fest is taking place in a park about a mile or so away and a huge youth soccer tournament
is right across the street. So of course, it's raining like hell.

We're on a little road trip.... currently in the Loire Valley in the little town of Amboise. I found myself sitting in a little bar last night with about 50 fanatic Frenchmen, watching France beat Italy 60-7 in the World Cup Rugby Group A finals. Sacre bleu! Mon Dieu c’était amusant!

Good afternoon everyone!
Cool cloudy rainy day in Michigan. Got some chores done but being lazy. I need to get somewhat motivated to grocery shop. I have turned onto my parents and have been making random things from the pantry
Still smiling from the Mac concert on Monday. Sure was nice to see he and Eric play. I hope other Reefers continue to perform and maybe collaborate on stage ear me someday.
Okay, enough silliness. I have to go get milk…..

The drive to Lake Placid was a bust. The town was packed with huge numbers of folks waking around even though it’s been raining for hours. Couldn’t find a parking spot within 4 blocks of the venue. We left and stopped at a local brewery for a beer, a 10”Pizza and some onion rings.

Probably a ton of bored leaf-peepers flooding the town... beer and pizza sounds like the perfect alternative!

"little road trip"?!

I'd love to see what you'd classify as a big one!
ENJOY!!
PS Your Rugby story brings me back to the time we were in Ireland and watched the Gaelic Football final in a town smack in between the two competitors. It was great observing the crowd, and trying to follow the math, even though the scoring was, um... interesting -as in WTH is going on with these hypens!

Astros beat Minn today 6-4.

The Twins tried to come back, but we outscored them.
On to tomorrow.

Still raining here in upstate NY. We just played the game Qwirkle (first time for us) with our friends who built the Airbnb where we are. Our part is 1500 sqft. 3 bdrm 2bath lakefront. They are on the other side and downstairs.
The game was fun and we are looking at Amazon now but it’s about $50.
This is the link to the property.

Treading water trying to keep my head above water in regards to the middle daughter's drama and chaos.
This was the 3rd weekend in a row for homecoming at the flower shop. I worked today. Bryan decided to bank some comp time hours too. I got home, started laundry and the robot vacuum. Bryan got home and we started watching the Buckeyes game at the half. I was a little bit concerned about this game as Maryland had not lost a game since we beat them last year and even though the teams they have beat are not power houses, they had handled Michigan State and Indiana handily. We definitely pulled it out for homecoming.
We have our first therapy appointment this Tuesday and I'm trying to stay positive.
Wishing everyone a great weekend.
