Since the plumber bailed yesterday bc of the snow Kevin heads back to mom's for the window of arrival between 10-1. The running tally for mom's calls to Kevin yesterday ended at 19. She doesn't leave messages. He calls her back every 3-4 call. Usually she wants to know a phone # which she has written on a piece of paper that is usually in front of her. On a good note, our nephew-in-law is buying her car next Wednesday so that is one less thing to deal with.

Glad to hear that the car is being sold, Linda. Not so glad about the plumber and calls.

E and I are going out to dinner, rare for us on a Wednesday. He gave me 2 more pieces of artwork from a person who posts on Facebook. Her stuff is kinda weird, but I like it. She does these hearts at Valentines Day and my first one was in 2017.

Over 100 deliveries went out today. I lost count of the pick up orders. Not to mention the walk-ins. On a normal day we usually cut off deliveries at 2:00, @ 2:33, I took yet another call asking if we could make a delivery today. People just think we have every arrangement that is on our website ready and waiting for them to call
I'm going to definitely need my margarita tonight!

I had a nice juicy burger and a couple of cold beverages at World Of Beer, it was a good lunch. When I was getting ready to pay my bill, the bartender told me I had a free cookie skillet in my rewards account. I would have had it, it's a fresh baked cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce but the cookie has nuts in it. I'm not a nut person so I had to leave free stuff on the table. Oh, the horror.

Hi there! We are prepping for Cabin Fever. Anne made her hot meat dip today and I hit the Dollar Tree for more crap. I bought another pair of scissors which is for a stencil class. I had 8 year olds cutting their own stencils, so I hope hungover women can match their level.

I also bought a 3 pack of soap bubbles.

Well it was quite an interesting day yesterday. Woke up to a heavy, wet snowfall. What we call a "real bough-bender".
Heard an explosion from one of the power poles and we were suddenly without electricity. No lights, no heat, no hot water.
For 25 hours! Finally got the power back at 840 this morning. Put most of the food from the fridge into a couple of coolers
and set them outside. So we didn't lose much. Slept in 4 layers of clothes and two blankets. Kept a trickle of water running so
the pipes wouldn't freeze. Some in the area still don't have power and might not get it until tonight or tomorrow.

I'm home, sipping on my 2nd margarita. Unfortunately I have to work again tomorrow. At least I don't have to be there by 8:00. I'm also going to try my best to only work half a day.

We went out to lunch at a local pub to celebrate because we're old, and retired folks can do that!!
It was much better than fighting the crowds for a dinner table tonight! We'll have a nice meal at home instead!

She handed me the recipe. Abridged recipe is ground beef and ground sausage, velveeta,salsa and cream of mushroom.
