Plant a Flower TUESDAY @ THE MSC
Good Morning!
Today is National Plant a Flower Day....Spring is just around the corner, and March 12th is the day to participate in National Plant a Flower Day. Each year this day is dedicated to the planting of flowers and looking forward to the spring season. Flower gardening has become a hobby for many, young and old, and National Plant a Flower Day is a start to the new season each year.
Marigolds and Daffodils are the flowers of March.
I love to have flowers in pots & beds. This year I will refrain from the time & $$. This fall will be a learning experience since we will be in a different climate .
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, Linda. We don't plant flowers. I have beautiful irises gait come up on their own without my interference.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning. I had a doctor's appointment at 8:30. Nothing important, they just drew blood for the various tests they run before I go back in 2 weeks to get the results and have my 6 month checkup. When I left the office I went to the park for a walk because it's a beautiful sunny day. Then I came home and had breakfast, I wasn't supposed to eat or drink anything before going to the doctor.
I won't be planting any flowers, or anything else, I'm not a plant person.

Good morning Linda, Bill, and Larry!
I have no energy today. Well, a lot of days are like that.
I don't plant things outside because 1) they are usually eaten by wild animals 2) we live in an apartment so very limited what we can do 3) I'll just stick to the few indoor plants that I have and haven't killed yet.
I also have a doctor appointment today, but at least no fasting.

If I can't smoke it I don't plant it.
Getting ready for appointment for abscess drain removal.
Temps hitting 70 next day or two. May go outside wave to cars like the crazy old retired man.

I was feeling a little off yesterday and I got home from work and immediately fell asleep in my chair. I was supposed to meet Michi in Columbus for drinks today, but woke up with a pounding headache, congestion and hacking up crud... needless to say that I had to cancel on Michi and went back to bed.

I planted some trees over 30 years ago to hide the ugly yard and house behind us.
I should have planted more of them.
I should have planted more of them.
Who's got the rum?

I'm planting an 80 foot row of junipers this spring to block the view of my neighbor's junk pile.

We still have the risk of some more winter around here. I’ll start planting in mid-April and will probably put in 8 to 10 flats of annuals before I’m done. 🪻

Re: Plant a Flower TUESDAY @ THE MSC
I don't plant things that die and need to be replanted the next year. I will buy a couple of hanging baskets of annuals but that's as far as I go. I don't even have any house plants. I can't seem to keep them alive. Awww who am I kidding I don't plant anything....SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑March 12, 2024 5:30 pm We still have the risk of some more winter around here.
