Hey folks. We have good news and uncertainty news. Lol
A house we saw in January in Myrtle beach was a resale. 3 yrs old. Owners already out. Same builder as the new development we’d like to get into. Little smaller but a pond in the backyard. We loved the layout and community amenities. Same distance to our friends/beach We knew when we saw it, it would be sold before we were ready to move. It just came back on the market and it’s $4500 less.
In this a sign??!!?
We may be scheduling a visit very soon !

Good afternoon. It was 70 degrees yesterday, it was 40 degrees when I woke up this morning.
Poultry Day would usually be an excuse to go to Hooters and have wings but I'm going to pass on that. They're doing a promotion for the NCAA basketball tournament, Thursday and Friday are the first 2 days of the tournament and I have a coupon for a free appetizer with the purchase of a beverage. I'd rather have free stuff than celebrate Poultry Day.

Hmm... a house relisted 45K less now that Spring selling season is here, and in a beach community, may actually BE a sign... but not a good one.Saltx3 wrote: ↑March 19, 2024 10:59 am Hey folks. We have good news and uncertainty news. Lol

Re: National Poultry Day Tuesday @ the MSC
The housing market in Myrtle Beach is so very different than here. Houses are dropping prices all over that area. New builds that are finishing a community are lowering prices AND offering things like a year of HOA fees so they can move on to the next development. There are a few homes that we’ve been tracking and many have dropped prices. Or, removed the listing and then delisted it just to “bump” it back to the new release level.

Around here prices are INCREASING in jumps of about 10K (yes, that IS right $10,000) per week! It's insane!
