See Who This Summer----Thread
Without the buzz of who's going where to see JB & The Reefers this summer, thought I'd start a thread so we can share who we've got on the docket this summer on the concert scene.
I'm pretty light at this point. Obviously not yet summer but Saturday night seeing whats left of the Marshall Tucker Band. Local small venue so should be a jamming good time!
Tickets in pocket for Chesney/Zac Brown show (although I may end up backing out). Just have issues with a stadium show.
Doobie Brothers/Steve Winwood show (mostly for an opportunity to see Winwood as I've saw Doobies probably 4 different times.
A solo musician who goes by the the stage name of Passenger (Lynn's favorite artist) who we'll be traveling to Toronto to see. Think along the lines of Ed Sheeran light.
UB40. A band who I never really appreciated & yearned to see back when they were in their heyday but later on have really gotten into their reggae sound. They're playing a local theater here in town so while I'm not expecting them to be as fresh as back in the day it still makes sense for me to drive 15 minutes across town & catch a few tunes I enjoy that they've put out.
Anticipate adding a few as the season progresses but for various reasons my free time this summer may be hindered a bit. Only Time Will Tell.

Mac McAnnaly is so far my only concert.
Going to see Escape from Margaritaville production by a local theater group.
That's all I've got so far along these lines.

George Thorogood and The Destroyers next Saturday. I was supposed to see him at the House of Blues a few years ago but there was a hurricane coming up the coast so the show was cancelled.
In June I'll be going down to North Charleston to see The Steve Miller Band at the Performing Arts Center.
Heart is playing at the North Charleston Coliseum in October and I'd like to see them, but that's still hurricane season. I don't know if I want to plan a trip that involves driving 2 hours each way that time of year.

I’m still hoping that the CRB does at least a little mini tour.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

I saw something about that. Is that show the full CRB? Or a smaller performance?bodypainter wrote: ↑April 19, 2024 7:11 pmHiya, Jon! I get to see them in Cleveland this summer.drunkpirate66 wrote: ↑April 19, 2024 1:22 pm I’m still hoping that the CRB does at least a little mini tour.

I'll be going to see Kenny and Zac Brown in Chicago, also will be seeing Eric Church at Country Thunder Wisconsin along with several others.
We have Chris Young and Old Dominion headlining a Festival in my hometown in September.
Does feel weird to not say Buffett at Alpine this year.
