While at the library last night, I took a chance and looked up Jimmy in the Books in Print database. According to the April 2002 update, Jimmy's new book is called "A Salty Piece of Land" and is due out in October 2002. However, it is NOT listed in Amazon.com, so I do not know how firm that release date is.

St. Somewhere:

Unfortunately, the Boston Public Library limits usage of the Books in Print database (reached through InfoTrac) to in-house computers. The next time I'm in the library, I'll hop on an Internet-capable machine and post the full citation.

All the best,

Deb.

Well, I finally got to the library. Here's the citation:

Author Buffett, Jimmy, 1946-
Title A Salty Piece of Land

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Publisher Little, Brown & CompanyAOL Time Warner Book Group [Distributor]
Publ. Date April 2003

ISBN FIELDS
ISBN 0316908452
Binding Trade Cloth
Page Count 320 p.
Language English
Status Active Record

PRICE FIELDS
Currency USD 25.95USD 25.95
Price Type USD 25.95 Retail Price (Publisher)USD 25.95 Retail Price (AOL Time Warner Book Group)
Subject(s) FICTION - GENERAL; FICTION - General

This is from the Books in Print with Book Review database from InfoTrac updated May 1, 2002. The ISBN has been assigned (it didn't change from the previous database citation). The title may be in flux. The only thing that changed from the April citation was the release date, which has been pushed to April 2003.

All the best,

Deb.
