I was there two years ago and we were boozing up a storm. The cops gave my 18 year old kid brother a drinking citation, but that was understandable. We told him not to deuce between the cars. Anyways, I am hoping to just go out there and see what happens. Maybe look for a group of people elsewhere if t-gating isn't allowed. I don't want to have to eat my burgers RAW, but I've been known to do that before....

that's ludicrous! how can they not let us tailgate??!! i'm going with a bunch of people, and we already bought food-n-booze. i say we storm the place and tailgate anyway. if they try to break it up, we break them down!!!!!

Heck Yeah! I am up for any ruckus.. Well I was thinking that there is a big ol' parking lot at the Speedway there, and I have never had a bad time at the Speedway! Any thoughts on wether they will get all uppity on us there if the pavilion is a bust!?!

Hey jimmy and sexyj - I'm glad you two are getting along so well, but I need to know about the tailgating situation. I have a small crowd ready to party in the parking lot, and I can't believe they might seriously not let us tailgate! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I want to tailgate!!!!!!!!!!!!! People should call Verizon and tell them that we will boycott their venue if they don't let us do our thang in their parking lot (excluding deuces of course). BOYCOTT VERIZON!!!!

I haven't been to Charlotte in a few years, but I know they always used to say "no tailgating" but I can assure you there was some serious tailgatin' goin' on by around 4:00!

Okay, they are saying that the gates will not open until 6 pm for the parking lot. But what happens when the line of cars are lined up so far going into the ampitheater (because they are not allowing cars into the parking lots) that they start blocking traffic on Hwy 29? I work for a stadium that deals with large crowds and I know we would open our parking lot so as not to create a mess out on public roads. Maybe we should organize a caravan all at the same time?!?
