Well, after Nashville, we decided that one show this year wasn't nearly enough. So we got some ticket$ for Atlanta.

I know about the pre-party at Malone's, but I have some questions for the pholks at the venue. Problem is, they're on the lam or something. All I can find is the concert hotline numbr. Does anyone have a number for HiFiBuys Amphitheater (formerly Lakewood) that actually connects with a person?

Does anybody know their tailgating plicies? When the gates open for parking/phestivities? Is your car safe there overnight, and are cabs available?

And now a public service announcement: beware of counterfeit tickets in Atlanta! Two years ago, we had two members of our phlock get their pheathers clipped by buying tickets from an on-site scalper. This isn't the only instance that I have heard, either. Better to go through a broker, IMO.

Every year I'm amazed at Lakewood. I've been to the shows every year since 94'. I've gotten there everytime around 8:00. Sometimes
i have had problemes getten in sometime I don't. It's a crap shoot. The latest they opened the lot was 11:00 and that was because we parked right in front of the gates and started our party there and traffic started backing up:lol:
As for tailgating policies. Pretty much anything goes. Open containers, grillin', tents, swimmin' pools. if you can dream it you can do it Well I hope that gives you and idea. I'll be there again

Sounds cool! We got together with a group of BN people before the Nashville concert after putting up 16 pages of posts together before the concert. It was fun.

We've been to Atlanta for 5 Buffett shows. We always do the pre-party at Malone's, but this year we want to tail-gate instead.

We have a group of 14 people (so far) from our club going to the concert. Some will be tail-gating with us, others are going to Malone's for a while then joining our tail-gate party later. We're a odd group of people, but aren't all PHs!

Looking forward to chatting as it gets closer to party time.

St Somewhere is playing Fri before at Hemmingway's in Marietta. I'll be there for sure. Maybe we can have a BN party there?? Maybe Jimmy will show up to party with us?? Ok...I can dream right?!?!

I'll have to see when my flight gets in. I haven't booked yet. No offence to St. Somewhere. I've seen them and they're great, but I'm waiting to see if Mac McAnally is going to do another show at the Variety Playhouse the night before. He has done a shoe there 3 years straight and it kind of become a tradition with my friends. Plus alot of the Reefers show up to play too.
