OK - We have a large group of us heading down to Vegas, allot of us are staying at the Flamingo and we are planning a party that will start when your plane lands and end when your plane takes off. If you want details on how to join us PM (Private Message for the lay person) Our Prez NYCPORT your 'real' name and let him know if you are staying at the Flamingo. He is going to try to get all of us Buffettnews freaks on the same floor. (If you have already PM Port no need to do it again) If you are staying at a differant hotel BUT still want to join us for our endless party PM NYCPORT or ME your email and once he or I arrive we will email you and let you know the details! I have a laptop and I assume port does as well.

For those of you who don't have laptops and will be unable to check your email when in Vegas Here is an option: I have a Voice Mail Pager that I can change the outgoing message for a few days letting you know all you will need to know to find us. So all you would have to do is call the number and listen. If you PM me I will give you the number before we leave.

How about setting up an official intinerary before we go and exchanging cell phone numbers. I see an itinerary forming like:
Friday
Poolside all day
Dinner?
Tommy Rockers

Saturday
Poolside once hangover subsides
MGM Preparty
Concert

Sunday
Poolside once hangover subsides
Pre-party Where???
Concert

Monday
Leave

Maybe suggest a place to party on saturday and sunday for the people not hitting both shows. I am so fired up already! 30 Days!!!

somewhere we need to squeeze in some time for Ragtop to lose all his money on the blackjack table, after all it wouldn't be a Vegas trip if that didn't happen.

I want to find a casino like in Vegas Vacation with game like 'Rock, Paper, Scissors" and "Pick a Number 1-10"

If not I will join you RT at the Blackjack table, I need to make my annual donation to the dealers 401K plan!

FYI - We WILL NOT be playing blackjack at The Flamingo. Dealers hit on soft 17's. I'll walk next door and take the better odds. Anyone want to venture downtown for some 1 or 2 shoe blackjack? Now those are odds I can deal with!

John...nice except....you have no post-concert party....this is VEGAS afterall. Sunday Pre-Party is at Key Largo pool area......many left coast PHC's are phlocking there. music, boat drinks and phun....NYCPORT....downtown has much better odds. Wonder what the Sox/Yanks line will look like.

If y'all are into slots, there is a market in Pahrump, about an hour's drive NW of the stip that has a couple of lose quater slots. So far I've won 6 $1000.00 jackpots after putting in about $30.00. It's the Food King market. I should be very easy to spot at all the parties. I'll be the one wearing a holster and bandolero with Tequilas and shot glasses, plus I'll be riding a white Goldwing bike with a 4' stuffed McCaw on the back rack. Now if I could only get JB to pose with me...i will have diedanf gone to heaven!

Hey BOR, several of the casino's have Casino War!!! My favorite! You get a card, dealer get's a card highest card wins. And if you get the same card, you can surrender & get half your bet back or anti up again and go to war!!! No counting stuff up, double downing, or splitting aces, just as simple as one card!!

Yes the Flamingo hits soft 17's, on my first trip to Vegas I didn't know they did, when the dealer took a hit on a soft 17 with me showing a 18 I almost jumped over the table at him.

1 and 2 shoe BJ! I am in! Some of the smaller older Casinos like O'Shea's which is on the strip have 1 and 2 deck. 23 days 'tll lift off!

I have played Casino war in Vagas and at Foxwoods. Don't like games where I have no options, I was talking to a dealer in Vegas last June and he told me that is a good game for the house, I don't get how it can be, the dealer and player have the same odds of winning! Most casinos now have War so it must be! I for one really like and have done well with Spanish 21, same as Blackjack except no 10's (there are face cards) the player wins on ALL 21's no matter how many cards it takes to get there and no matter what the dealer has, you can double down on anytime and if you get a bad card you can surrender and get half your bet back, plus there are side odds.
