it really depends on the venue and whether your looking to buy or sell. For GW, Atlanta, Cincinatti etc... you might have a hard time trying to buy tix but if you had extra's you should be able to get rid of them rather easily. Places like Las Vegas you can't give the tickets away.

Just a heads up....
The last two years Great Woods security was checking to make sure you had tickets BEFORE they let you into the parking lot. So if you are looking to buy there, it might be hard to get in.

We walked the entire parking lot at nissan last year and only saw 2 or 3 people selling. (Doesn't mean there wasn't more, but that's all we saw.) There were tons of people looking for tickets though. If you're selling, you may want to ask someone in law enforcement about the scalping laws if you aren't selling face value. The cops in the lot seem to watch more for people selling stuff than people drinking.

This one I still cant belive! I had 2 tickets for JB at The Palace in Auburn Hills MI. They were 6th row floor. By chances I also got first row from a friend whos boss wasnt useing them. So I went arond the lot to get rid of my 7th row seats. Not one Parrot Head wanted them even at face value! I still have them framed in my office.
See ya all in Cinnci!!

I am hoping to drop in at Camden, and try to buy a pair of tix. Any thoughts? What do you think I might pay day of show in parking lot?

OCGirl, last two shows I sold 2 and 4 tix day of in parking lot @ Camden. They can be found. I'm shut out this year, otherwise, you'd be in luck. Last year someone traded us section 102's straight up for lawns, just so they couldl sit with their friends in the lawn . Keep the faith.

I knew somebody here would have an answer. I will be heading up with a tiny bit of cash in the pocket and hoping. The hubby is usually good at these things. Does anybody park on the philly side and take the ferry over??

OCG, never did it. I'm told that it's great. Not sure how hard it is getting back over to Philly. It's just too easy for me to head straight down 295, find a good parking spot & relax for a couple hours b4 the show.

If you are buying just make sure the tickets you buy are real. The last couple of years at Great Woods a few people got screwed with counterfit tickets. They scan them at the gate and if they dont scan they will not let you in. I think in Atlanta 2 years ago they had a problem too.

I think if the show is a weekday there is a better chance of getting them in the lot, Sone of the more casual "parrotheads" realize they can't get out of work and they are available to buy by their friends in the parking lot.

I have purchased some of my best tickets in the parking lots before show's in Chicago.

But I do not count on it! Always have other tickets and look into trading up!
