I know it's a not for a while, but anyone have any thoughts on the San Diego show? What is tailgating like? I've never seen JB in California before, I'm a Parrothead stuck in Vail, CO and am only used to Denver and Dallas shows.

Tailgating in san Diego is great. I've seen Bubba there every year since the Coor's Amitheater opened. There are lots of very friendly people, having a lot of fun. Restrooms are at a premium, if you have a RV, your good to go. Ohterwise the wait in line is long. Many of the tailgets get very creative...active volcanos and tiki bars are common sites. very few hassels from the local police.

This will be our first time seeing Jimmy in San Diego! I've heard it is a great venue. I'm really looking foward to the experience! I've seen Buffett every time he's played here in Las Vegas but never anywhere else. Any advice as far as other things to do over the weekend in SD?

Make your Friday night a night out in the Gaslamp Quarter. Downtown SD.....many phun places to go. Then SD has great beaches.....a great Zoo, SeaWorld...Tijuanna is only 10 miles south. Old Town has some awesome restaurants...La Jolla has some good times and is very upscale...... tons to do here in SD.....Oh yeah, then there's this 55-Year old beach bum singing some tunes in the south bay.

I AM ready for Vegas...! 96 degrees, clear skies and a UV index of 10...
This will be one fun weekend...Rum is already packed and I'm bringing a brand new CD by Gary Seiler, called Livin' on Dreams, (
www.garyseiler.com) and this CD is excellant...
Gary, has opened for Mr. Buffett here in San Diego. Gary wrote the song "Bali Hi Boys" after having visited the island of Morrea where Jimmy wrote One Particular Harbor...
In addition to "Bali Hi Boys", his songs "Run Tourist Run" (written during and after Hurricane Michelle last year at Meeting of the Minds) and "Mexico" are definately worthy of airplay...matter of fact, just about every tune on this new CD, "Living on Dreams", is worthy of airplay...
Viva Las Vegas...!
