For those people who use the Ticket Exchange, there is now a "Terms and Conditions for Exchanging Tickets"

I predict this will not have the effect many people think it will. It's like throwing a chair of the Titantic, not much will change. People who want tickets will simply put ads up saying they will spend $100+ for tickets or people who are selling tickets will say best offer then set the high price via email.

I think you're right, BottleOfRum, but I think it'll keep some people from crying about the prices people are selling tickets for on the exchange.

At least I hope it does.

I am happy PHJim has made it a policy but I wonder how this will be monitored. People will be making posts b****ing about high price ads if ads are up and not removed in a timley manner. I hope it works out but as always I am skeptical.

I'm glad a decision was made one way or the other. My question is what about people who are unable to use their tickets and want to sell them for the price they paid for them. If they paid over face they won't be allowed to post their tickets??? Obviosly almost impossable to monitor but it seems to me we are really limiting our options by doing this. Oh well, PHJIM keep up the excellent work, in my opinion still the best JB site out there.

Agreed! Best Bufett site in the world. I didn't have a problem with the ticket exchange policy, if it was me I wouldn't have changed it. But, if this will stop the p***ing and moaning GOOD!

If people are willing to overpay for tickets, I figure that's their business. It's irritating when I'm looking for a decent price, but that's my problem.

However, when people scam others into sending money, that's a big problem. PLEASE, never deal with anyone you don't know or can't confirm. I've found that asking for tickets to be sent COD scares off a lot of potential crooks.
