Mommin Parrot,
you may have cried but think of all of the great memories you have from that experience. how strong it is when the music a person can write and/or sing can have that kind of effect on a person. what is your favorite buffett song, and why???
I just cannot answer that question with just one song.
Right now, at age 73, Tonight I Just Need My Guitar kinda says it all. When it came out, I loved A Pirate Looks at Forty (but it was more like 55 for me). But then, I think about Lovely Cruise and all the times I've had at the beach and then that's my favorite. How do you pick just one? Over the years, JB's told the story of my life.

Well SC, it is a good moment to record, although I think if I recorded Jimmy saying the f word, my elder kin would not be that pleased with the recording.

Mommin Parrot,
powerful answer, and thanks. how do you pick just one? i can't, and i am less than 73. for some reason "lovely cruise" has always been a favorite, but i have never even been on a cruise. i can't pick a favorite either. i'll get back with you when i am 73, but you know what, i still won't be able to pick out one single favorite song then either. how about we like them all and leave it at that!

I feel like a rebel, but my favorite song is, has been, and will probibly always be Last Mango in Paris. It got me started on JB, and it is one of or the greatest story that I have EVER heard!

M'Parrot, are you really 73?
Guess I'll have to quit talking about being old, huh?
I thought everybody older than me was computer-impared!

Indeed I am. Born 9-24-29. My adult daughter got me started when she was a teenager back in the early '70s. I took it from there.

I've heard of Claremore, it's up by Tulsa. Tulsa is a pretty fun town. My brother in law lives in Sperry.
